OT: Southern Motion

Looking at some Southern Motion brand furniture. It says all American made in Houston, Ms. Anyone know about this company? Do they make decent stuff? Is it really made of American stuff or just assembled in America?

Looking at some Southern Motion brand furniture. It says all American made in Houston, Ms. Anyone know about this company? Do they make decent stuff? Is it really made of American stuff or just assembled in America?

Southern Motion furniture is made in Pontotoc, MS. (Have plant in Baldwyn and Guntown as well). They make very good quality furniture. They do purchase some raw materials from China (fabric, possibly mechanisms, etc) but that is standard for the industry. They don’t cut and sew in Asia like others (or very rarely do). That means from a raw material standpoint to the finished product, they do it all in North MS. As someone in the industry (no I don’t work there) I would recommend them.
