This is a thread to see if the commissioners will return for their duties and if all will return. If not, who wants to take their place? And if there is desire to get in but the leagues are full, this is the time to consider another league if the demand is there.

The Jackson Ghetto Rats are under tremendous pressure from activists to change their mascot. So far we are standing up against this abuse from the cancel culture that's out there. I just want to know if D@A is going to play more than one national anthem before each game this year.

Yea I didn’t have such a great showing in my own league. I remember correctly I had the 3-4th pick and I was torn on Zeke as I’m not sure his contract situation had been resolved and I took the Jet’s LeVeon Bell instead. Smooth move Exlax. Had to recover from a first round 17up like that.

I do have back to back regular season 2nds in the Lettuce Patch going 20-6 and taking yalls money last season.

I will probably try to register the LP pt Deux league on ESPN the first week of so of August and then email or SPS DM those that that played to see who is back in and who may need replacing.

BTW if there is ever an opening in the original SPS league I’d be interested in joining.

After MsuBulldogfan1 texted me earlier today I got to thinking about money scenerios if the season were to be halted before it was over and no playoffs are completed. My suggestion would be to use the payout schedule for the regular season and pay that portion out to whatever the standings are when the season has been called, then refunding the playoff portion.

A few changes will be made. One definite change will be going to fractional scoring in order to eliminate 99.9% of all ties. Then we may scratch the kicker position and possibly make changes to one or more of the flex positions.

Looking forward to it and hope with its return will come some semblance of a return to normalcy.

If you have an extra spot let me know. I'm in the original SPS league but wouldn't mind participating in another league too.

If we are scratching the kicker we might as well scratch defenses too and add another WR or Flex. That would take some randomness out and make it an insanely deep league. It's already pretty deep with 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 Flex and 17 roster spots but there is enough offense in the NFL to add another WR or Flex to the mix. I'm behind the fractional scoring changes.

I'm all for keeping the big play scoring bonuses.

I’m open to pretty much anything with the exception bung 2 starting QBs. 12 teams with 2 QB just leaves 6 non/ fantasy starting QB at most. Add injuries, byes, and some teams carrying 3 just equals someone not having a starter at a high scoring position. I’m willing to go no DEF or to IDPs. Also open to the either going to 3 WR or 3 FLEX, I’m in a 20 year old keeper league and we start 3 WR, 2 RB, 2 flex and it works well but takes real depth.

I love that idea of 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 flex. I hate 2 QBs because of the issues you mentioned and because it has no resemblance to actual football. 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 flex does and it will differentiate the leagues while making owners do more research and increase strategy.

Other than fractional scoring I am for leaving the scoring system as it is in LP Pt. 2.

IDPs is a bit much, I'd rather just have team defense if we are going to do that. In that case though I would just leave kickers in too. Expect someone to hit 250 one week this season.
