Working from home today and watching Pardon the Interruption on ESPN for the first time in years. Kornheiser gives the state and the legislature big props for changing the flag “so quickly and easily,” and compliments Kylin Hill. Says that “fundamental change came to Mississippi in the Deep South, while there are other regions of the country who aren’t moving.” Don’t know what he means by that, but I’ll take it. Also mentions that the universities stopped flying the flag years ago. Wilbon was more measured with his praise, but gave Kylin Hill major credit, saying that he’s the person who should be thanked.

The Golich show gave a shoutout to Kylin Hill from Ole Miss. Corrected himself a bit later.

I don’t care if they credit kylin hill or not. As long as we get good pub, bring it on however they want.

But there are a lot of people who need credit including many conservative Republicans.

White House press secretary Kayleigh was asked about the MS Flag today. She said it was a good thing and MS did it right. MS was able to get the flag changed going through the legislation process and the people got it done without tearing down statues.

As someone who doesn’t live in Mississippi anymore, but is considering moving back, I keep up with current events through friends and relatives. The Mississippi populace should be commended for how everyone has handled the current climate. From what I hear, virtually all protests have been just that, and peaceful. Good job, Mississippi.
