So what is OM up to now?

Last night all hell breaks loose about J. Jones all of a sudden deciding to enter the portal and wearing OM clothes while at OM on social media.

This is on the heels of the rumors that Lovett is trying to go to OM now. And then you've got two or so other players rumored to be courted by OM?

Is the MSU Athletic Dept turning OM in? Leach and Cohen are not going to just take this one on the chin, I don't believe. But who knows if anything will come of it. But it seems that OM is going back to their old tricks with the booster money.

They hired Lane Kiffin... need I say more? Of course they are right back to their normal BS.

Who are these two or so other players?
Honestly, if we have any players on the team who even has the slightest inkling in joining them I hope those mf’ers enter the portal as soon as they possibly can so they can get their *** beat for the rest of their careers and spend their lives after death in a firey eternal damnation. 17’em

They have not been to a bowl game in four years. They lost to Miss State two years back to back. They are not very good and have fallen way behind Miss State. They will do anything right now. The last time they got in this boat they hired Freeze and opened up the floodgates of cheating. This will end them right back to that place again. If someone wants to leave state and go to ole miss I don't want them anyways. Plus it will get them back to in trouble sooner than later.

Seriously if there are people that are not 100% bought into this program they need to go as soon as possible. We don't need any trouble makers or less than 100% effort. A 3 star player giving it all he has got is better than a 4 star slacker with a 17ed up attitude. Again.....bye

They are all in again for sure. You could see this coming a mile away when they paid those buyouts and spent so big on their new coaching staff. They didn't spend that kind of money just to do everything by the book.

One thing that is true.....we need to play some games. That's how Leach's star will shine at MSU. He needs to get that offense implemented quickly. Once we do that, the rest falls into place.

You're right, but there's still something fishy about our players wanting to transfer to the Bears. Maybe their desperation, and basically getting off with a wrist-slap given the degree of their violations, has led them to the cheating path once again. And I don't think the transfers are a result of Leach's tweet - he should refrain from tweeting about things other than football, but if that turned the players then they're really, really shallow.

Yep. It could be something as simple as MSU requiring them to actually attend and perform in class.

True, but no other teams are able to practice either. Their advantage (if you want to call it that, given we had Moorhead) is that they're not having to implement a new offense or defense like we are. Otherwise, nobody will be able to play to full ability for a while.

I defended Moorhead and I was wrong. He made our players weak. The new staff is making them work hard and not playing basketball with them trying to be their friend.

That's not the point.

Point is that Leach's offense is going to be our selling point, or niche. We need to play for that to be put on display. Meanwhile Ole Miss' niche happens to take place off the field, at D1 in Madison, etc.

I live in Madison, but I don't get out much (especially lately). What is "D1 in Madison"? And I assume you mean Madison, Ms.

Perhaps the door has started to open back up for JJ staying? Seems like Oregon is a real possibility too. But I think Cohen put his balls on the table to day.

I think Oregon is the safe bet. Ole Miss backs off to avoid trouble but JJ still leaves and reunites with Moorhead, could easily see that playing out.

Has he even entered the portal yet? He tweeted out “much appreciate all the schools reaching out”. That ****’s not even close to legal for any school to reach out unless he’s in the portal.
