When Kylin is averaging 7 ypc during a game and we throw three straight incompletions. ETA: and we have to punt the ball.

Depends on whether we have ever heard of the guy being thrown to and if not a single receiver was open when we threw three straight incompletions. We have become so used to our receivers running out there and finding the guy that is covering them to hold hands with, any resemblance of an “open” receiver will cause our mouths to open wide agape.

If folks couldn’t handle the “qb up the middle” with Mullen.... these folks are going tar and feather Leach. There is no more stubborn of a play caller in the country then Leach.

I’m currently watching WSU vs Houston from last year, ML just converted a 4th and 1 with a slant. Madness.

It all comes down to the big picture for me. If Leach has our offense in the to 25-40, I’ll trust the process and avoid nitpicking as much as possible.

The reason I stayed on Moorhead’s *** wasn’t over one play or player. It was over the fact that when an offensive savant couldn’t muster anything better than a #70 ranking in two years, he was never at any point able to formulate something that resembled an answer throughout the season. Just kept banging on that square peg...

If you think we are going to have growing pains shifting from a running to a passing team, you are right. The one thing you won't have to worry about it continuing to keep starting WRs with brick hands or running a slot receiver dressed as a RB up the middle constantly. Leech doesn't have the patience for that kind of stuff.

I will add that I trust him to change us to a passing team more than others because he believes in repetition, followed by repetition, on top of repetition with some more repetition in his offensive practice. He wants players to automatically react to the defense and keep it simple.
