Winston had LASIK in the off-season maybe he will be able to see what team he is throwing to...

Love it. Still just 26. Sean gets a year to see if Winston could take over next season.

Under Sean's tutelage, he can be the future leader of the Saints. Maybe even supplant Brees. I'm real excited for Who Dat Nation.

30 interceptions in one year is a whole bunch and he had a bunch of fumbles too. He is a human turnover machine that makes head scratching bad decisions constantly.

The TOs are a huge deal, but perhaps fixable. Winston was nfl leader in passing yards, 2nd in td passes, and #5 in yds/att, so there's some talent there. Like I said, he's only 26 and Sean Payton is a really good coach. Another thing to consider with the huge TO numbers is pressure... Winston was under constant pressure, 47 sacks (2nd in nfl). 1-year deal, so no risk imo

All true. But there are way worse back-up QB’s out there.

They are both place holders until 2021 when the Heisman Trophy winner KJ Costello gets drafted by the Saints.****

Saw this stat today. Jameis has more career passes to Saints players (10) than Taysom Hill (7). Lol

Lifted this off saints' board...

Jameis Winston was offered a more lucrative deal by the Pittsburgh Steelers, per source. In the end, he decided to learn under Drew Brees and Sean Payton

Crazy. Talented as hell. Bonehead upstairs though. Saints will process him if they need to. We lost Teddy Bridgewater. Needed someone other than Hill as a back up. Winston will get to learn from Breeze.

There's simply no downside to this situation. The upside could be tremendous though.
