Same for us. I do draw SS but also have a PT job, so I have heard if you are drawing SSA the check has to come through them. We don’t get refunds, always have to pay, so they will have to mail mine or deposit it through SSA direct deposit.

I know this won’t be super helpful, but I did read this morning that only somewhere around 90 mil checks have gone out, so there’s still quite a few in process. Also, if you haven’t already, I do keep seeing them recommending that folks set up direct deposit on the irs.gov site

If you have not filed 2019 returns, you may be at the bottom of the list from what I have heard.

I got the same message until my taxes were processed. It took longer than normal for taxes to be processed (30 days). Once my tax refund was sent the message for stimulus changed insinuating it would be deposited soon.

Same as everyone else. Payment status not available.

We filed 2019 at the beginning of this month, not sure if that effects our timeline or not.

I'm Not Available either. I've never received one of those refund things so the IRS is able to pretend it doesn't know my bank account and routing numbers.

Same here. Funny, they never have a problem getting in touch with me or finding my account status when I owe them money. LLC owner here

Did you file jointly with your spouse? If so, try entering their information. I kept getting kicked out but hers worked first try. Then when I logged in it said my payment was on the way to her account. Should get it this week.

Got mine last week, but I'm a federal civil service retiree and get a very minimal SS payment (because of the windfall law), have already filed taxes this year, and got a small (very small -$13!) refund. So I was sort of a "perfect storm" situation.

What's odd is that my income hasn't changed a bit (unless and until federal retirement pensions are affected, which should be never), yet I was one of the first to get the payment. Probably shouldn't have gotten one at all, other than they expect you to spend it and revitalize the economy. And there's really nowhere to spend it with the shutdown.

Spoke with a coworker today who filed taxes second week of April & has not received it yet, so could be something to that.

I’m getting the same error message. I have not done my 2019 taxes because I was hoping to use the stimulus to pay some of the taxes that I owe from 2019. I owed in 2018 too, So I am guessing that they might be sending a paper check?

Same here. My wife...

...read something that implied people who *paid* taxes (in other words didn't get a refund) would be delayed. My wife's a contractor who doesn't make much but it's enough that we have to pay taxes instead of getting a refund.

Paper checks will be issued at a rate of about 5 million per week, meaning it could take up to 20 weeks to issue all the checks expected to be mailed.

The checks will be issued in reverse “adjusted gross income” order — starting with people with the lowest incomes first. Taxpayers with income up to $10,000 will be the first to get their checks, which are expected to arrive by April 24.

Americans with income up to $20,000 are expected to get their checks by May 1, while those with income up to $40,000 by May 15. The rest of the checks will be issued by gradually increasing income increments each week. Households earning $198,000 who file jointly will get their reduced checks on Sept. 4. The last group of checks will be sent on Sept. 11 to those who didn’t have tax information on file and had to apply for checks.

If you know your AGI from 2019 (if you've already filed your federal return) or 2018 (if you've yet to file), this will tell you precisely when you can expect to receive your stimulus check.
  • If the IRS has your direct deposit information on file: the week ending April 17.
  • Paper checks for people with up to $10,000 in AGI: the week ending April 24.
  • Between $10,000 AGI and $20,000 AGI: the week ending May 1.
  • Between $20,000 AGI and $30,000 AGI: the week ending May 8.
  • Between $30,000 AGI and $40,000 AGI: the week ending May 15.
  • Between $40,000 AGI and $50,000 AGI: the week ending May 22.
  • Between $50,000 AGI and $60,000 AGI: the week ending May 29.
  • Between $60,000 AGI and $70,000 AGI: the week ending June 5.
  • Between $70,000 AGI and $80,000 AGI: the week ending June 12.
  • Between $80,000 AGI and $90,000 AGI: the week ending June 19.
  • Between $90,000 AGI and $100,000 AGI: the week ending June 26.
  • Between $100,000 AGI and $110,000 AGI: the week ending July 3.
  • Between $110,000 AGI and $120,000 AGI: the week ending July 10.
  • Between $120,000 AGI and $130,000 AGI: the week ending July 17.
  • Between $130,000 AGI and $140,000 AGI: the week ending July 24.
  • Between $140,000 AGI and $150,000 AGI: the week ending July 31.
  • Between $150,000 AGI and $160,000 AGI: the week ending Aug. 7.
  • Between $160,000 AGI and $170,000 AGI: the week ending Aug. 14.
  • Between $170,000 AGI and $180,000 AGI: the week ending Aug. 21.
  • Between $180,000 AGI and $190,000 AGI: the week ending Aug. 28.
  • Between $190,000 AGI and $198,000 AGI: the week ending Sept. 4.
  • All other checks (e.g., those who didn't have tax info on file): the week ending Sept. 11.

Exact same situation here. Wife works a second job as an IC. Perhaps because we owed on account of her job? Strange thing was we used my checking account to pay what we owed. You would think they would have it on file, but I understand not everyone would want the refund in the same account they paid with.

I’ve been thinking about this statement of 90 mil checks going out to date. Assuming there are some 150 mil people working and 30% of those will not qualify, there cannot be that many more checks to go out. Couples who file jointly get theirs in one check. With 90 mil checks already mailed or deposited, that covers a monstrous number of candidates.

I also paid in, haven't received check, and had to enter bank info

Didn’t qualify for the stimulus check, but got the first government assistance payment in my life/career. I’m still kind of numb to it. It’s a debit card.
can I buy coke/whores with a debit card? Ain’t that what I’m supposed to do?

What I read is if you used TurboTax or H&R Block to do your taxes you might be waiting till the end of May.Same for if you get any type of SSI.

Same here, but I just checked and no payment was made to the card. It says I have an eligibility issue and to call in. Problem is, the line is always busy.

I got the card in the mail but it has no balance. Don't know why.

The IRS website has said the same thing for over a week for me: "You're eligible for the payment and we'll update you with a payment date."

I entered my direct deposit info and it's accurate and showing up on the Web portal. I did use Turbo Tax and got a small refund.

I'm in a similar situation as Taco was in too.

Yes, but you have to do some horz trading first. You’ll only get about $.30 on the dollar, but you can get the good stuff. Look for Rico around the side of Walmart. He’ll walk you through the process.

I wonder if anyone is actually getting a specific date using this tool.

Our info was submitted Friday and we do not have a date. Apparently it updates once a day.

I dont really give a ****, we both have our jobs, but I would prefer to get it soon so I dont have to keep thinking about whether it is going to work or not. Everyone who pays taxes is ultimately paying for this. It needs to work.

Same boat. Would like to know one way or the other to stop thinking about it. I actually started being generous to others bc I don't really need the check, but I stopped doing that until I know for sure I'm getting it.

I hadn't initially looked because both of us assumed we wouldn't qualify, but it ends up we do get a bit.
I was supposed to receive it last week, but it went to a bank that we no longer do business with since our new bank info hadn't yet been sent in.

Super.

So now we wait for a paper check to eventually come, I think. A letter will be sent that tells us what to do.

Oh well, it's unexpected money so I guess whenever it comes it comes.
