Be right back, going to Lowes with 1000 other people to pick up potting soil.**

Just be sure you don’t park at a church near other cars. Apparently it can spread thru exhaust fumes and your radio.

Hahaha. ABC just ran a story in Dallas (not on Dak) about park closings in Dallas and other closing around the country. But the reporter was at a Dallas park, showed a park closed sign and you can sign 5-6 people in the background on the walking track.

From the photos there wasn't even double digits of people there. And there's this from TMZ:

3:34 PM PT -- Prosper PD tells TMZ Sports it responded to a report of a potential party at Dak's home. However, "the officer was unable to verify the report of a 'party'; therefore, he just reminded the resident of the current CDC guidelines -- to include social distancing."

Kind of fitting that Dak lives in Prosper. Neon Dion has a crib out that way too. Nice place.

So someone sees 6-7 cars in the drive way it’s a party? Hell 3 of those may be Dak’s. Pansies whoever called the law.

When people started dying over over people's 17ing selfish stupidity...that's when.

This is not the black plague. Have you been anywhere? You can't go to the grocery store without getting much closer than the 6 foot rule. Just like the flu, those in high risk categories and even a few completely healthy folks may have serious complications, but the vast majority of healthy people will have little to no symptoms if they get it. Two years ago 61k died of flu in the US.

I hope this country never faces a serious challenge on the scale of WW2 again, I can't imagine we'd find nearly 100k Americans to do the job at Normandy beach.

You are much more likely to be seriously injured in a car crash, but I don't see skinny jean wearing man buns trading in Prius's for F250s with iron bumpers and 5 point harness systems. Maybe if they made a crash helmet to accommodate man buns?

Were you this mad last year

When people started dying over over people's 17ing selfish stupidity...that's when.
When people spread the flu? Over 80,000 people died. Please back off the ledge or go ahead and jump. Either way things will calm down for the rest of us. Quit being selfish.

You’re right, I’m sorry

Although both are contagious and kill people with underlying health issues, one has killed a good bit more than the other. I shouldn’t point out that people lose their mind over one but not the other for some reason.

That's really unfortunate to see.
He doesn't need to have anyone over- he could just be a 17ing role model and set an example by not hosting a party of any size.

A girl 2 blocks away from me had her 13th birthday yesterday. The family put out a sign asking people to honk for her birthday. That was the party, if it can be called that.

As for Dak and others working out and taking a pic of arms over shoulders...again, why? What the 17 is the upside to doing that? I genuinely can't see an upside. What motivation could there be?

https://www.lex18.com/news/coronavi...-a-difference-response-is-necessary?_amp=true

Read this. It explains why there is a different approach for covid-19.
This has been explained dozens of times here and thousands of times on media, but apparently you have missed all of it up to now.
I am happy I was able to help teach you as it will help you to then teach the other 3 people who are still comparing the approach to how season flu is handled.

Oh, and I will not be surprised if moving forward we are more aware of how seasonal flu is handled. This has caused an entire generation of kids to learn about flu, viruses, and hygiene. It won't be perfect moving forward(since there are still versions of you to deal with), but yeah I can absolutely see more acceptance of staying home from work when sick and following hygiene procedures in schools.

Dak is trying to get a new contract in the near future. He is probably trying to improve and be as sharp as possible for when football season starts. Besides working hard, part of getting the contract is marketing. This is marketing. He’s showing teams he is out there working and has good relationships with other players/former players.

Didn’t say they were the same. Just pointing out how some people lose their mind over one disease that will likely kill half of the number of people that the flu kills every year (including this one with all the quarantine), but people are perfectly OK with the risks of catching the flu. Flu kills 80-120k every year, and people don’t alter their behavior one bit. Most people don’t even get the vaccine that is available. But y’all carry on with the panic.

I didn't accuse you of saying they are the same, I replied because its stupid to compare them.
There is a difference.

The rest of your post once again attempts to diminish the severity and importance of why this is being handled differently that the seasonal flu.
You say you get it but then you post like you don't. Its odd.

So its a conscious marketing decision to have this bad press?
Well that's just odd.

Bad press? According to who? Do you think his agent didn’t orchestrate this whole thing? He probably took the picture.

Dak is an NFL quarterback, so I would assume that he works out in order to maintain and/or improve his skills.

I'm not at all surprised that Dak is working out, regardless of the virus.

Likely, Dak has done this sort of off-season thing since high school.

In fact, I'll bet every single person who wants to be an NFL quarterback next season is working out to some degree these days.

Have you seen good press concerning this? Have you seen any articles written that compliment him for the picture?

As for him wanting to advertise he is staying in shape- he could go on some radio and TV shows and announce that **** to the world. He can do all that while alone.

Are you really not understanding the discussion here? It isn't whether or not Dak working out is bad optics. Its whether or not Dak working out with a group and them hanging arms over one another is bad optics.

Its unfortunate that youth so often take their cues from athletes and celebrities.

Do you think a radio interview would’ve gotten this much publicity? Do you think he and his agent didn’t know what they were doing?

Dak doesn't let weak limp wristed fear obsessed people like you run his life. I applaud him for it. The silliness of this **** has reached a fever pitch.

Ok, so you are taking the approach of no publicity is bad publicity. Gotcha.
That is a completely absurd approach to take when it comes to maintaining a reputation as an athlete.

This is some really petty name calling.
The homophobic insult isnt worth addressing.
The fear obsessed insult is worth addressing. I am not fear obsessed and none of my comments in this thread are based in pushing fear. I find it irresponsible for those who influence others to do **** like this. That isnt fear obsession, its concern for how influence affects the decisions of others.

It's gotten petty at this point. What's going on in this country is ridiculous. I have no more desire to reason with the unreasonable.

Where are you getting your stats? That number seems to grow every day around here.
Are you talking globally or US? Because if you are implying that flu kills 100k annually in the US, you are way off and might want to find a new source.
