Do you have people you consider allies and enemies on this board? There are guys that i think are mostly stupid but not really an enemy( It's not like I know ya). I don't currently have that dude that I follow around and down vote like a *****. But I do have guys that I down vote more than I up vote. There are guys that strike me funny more than not even if we differ on political / social issues.

A few I like are Drebin , Cochise , T-towndawg ( not really politically but quite interesting ) , Doc ( Thanks for the tickets ) and Uncle ( A bit high strung but often has entertainment value ). Med was a favorite on genespage

Ibedancin, 61, and blacklisted ( meds seem to be needed/skipped ) get on my nerves but not to the point of hatred like the fake coach used to with Stans. Sterling seemed like he needed a Snickers ( fair videos though ).

It's like a big gay community on here (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Thought I'd share.

I don't dislike anyone in particular. Everyone has made me laugh at some point on this board.

I think Coledog might shiv me in the bathroom over some age jokes... I really don't understand why though. Speaking of Coledog, I haven't heard from him in a while, I hope he is staying home and being safe. Way too old to get out in this environment.

ETA. Did you ever find your computer?

I float around on the outskirts and jump in here and there. Don't really have anyone I despise.

I don't have enemies that I know of, but I don't care for bragging when a person feels they are an "insider". As far as Blacklisted goes, I've never had a single problem with him. Some posters are a little more knowlegeable about sports and other subjects, however. I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about the details of any sport, and have absolutely no knowledge about inside goings on. And don't really care to - I just enjoy watching the games.

I don't pay that much attention to who is posting what, at least not enough to name people off hand. More than noticing user names, I recognize avatars and have general impressions, although some of those might get lumped together/mixed up. Only person I could name off hand as far as being a dubmass is deadhead, and I probalby wouldn't be able to come up with his name if it weren't for the downvote. And I can think of fishwater also. SO apparently just repeating the same point over and over again, regardless of how good or bad it is, is the way to make me take note of your user name.

Most of the time if someone is being particularly stupid or crazy, I just assume it's a new user name of goat. I don't even know who goat is now and probably haven't for several user names.

As a Gen X’er, I am sizing people up first time I meet them. In this new digital age, I’ve had to get fairly good at doing that from reading what people type. This is the only message board Im on and can stand reading. I like the sarcasm. The dark humor and gloom of many State fans is almost imprinted on our DNA.

Generally, the more someone posts the more I dislike them. And if your posts are long, rambling, know-it-all arrogance, you’re probably an ***. And if you do all that coupled with no line breaks, you’re definitely a piece of ****.

Cheers, Friends

I get confused with half of you mother17ers. 50% of the posters have some various of 'dog' in their handle, there is some dude with a MS avatar eating chicken, police academy dude, and some old war dude always posting links to a podcast I'll never listen to.

I'd say my favorites are the southern miss fans and probably bruiser. The rest of you guys can go kick rocks.

Changes depending on the thread honestly. I really dislike posters who always turn threads political. Die on that hill posters are also the worst. You should only be able to die once.

Only specific poster was the left lane driver. dawg61 I think.

I have no allies or enemies, anywhere. There are a few peoples I like more than others, here (not in any order)

- Drebin (SP?) because of his excellent magazine.
- The guy who has the bouncy breasts lady as his (avitar? photo)
- The guy who has the lady, who is propped against the door jam, who turns and walks away, lifting her arms and showing her cheeks. One time, I paused to watch her for 2 hours before going to the next post.
- Imissplatniumplus because DUH!
- The Rabbi - our resident Holy Man.

There was a guy I did not like, but he left for other places, and I am glad that happened.

I have avatars and signatures hidden, and also don't pay much attention to usernames. I recognize the ones that have been here for years and some do stand out if they have strong opinions on a subject - but for the most part I don't pay enough attention to form an opinion of anyone on here. I've always assumed the same about me - no one really notices who I am when I post.

I do consider this board to be a big part of my MSU family even though I don't personally know anyone here by their username. Do know a few who post here but never asked their username, and have met a few from buying / selling tickets. We need to come up with some kind of secret tattoo so we can recognize each other in the wild.

You should have titled this, "Allies, enemies & pussies", putting yourself in the last category. Seriously. You felt the need to create a post so you can tell the board who you like & dislike? Are you a teenage girl or something? What's next...you gonna tell us what's your favorite color, favorite boy-band & what animal you would be?

I didn't even recognize your handle enough to know what kind of poster you are, or whether I, "like you or not", so I guess I now take a little amusement in learning I'm in the head of somebody I didn't even know existed, who is such an apparent sissy.

If you are a guy, I suggest you may need hormone therapy.

Thanks for the laugh.

Sorry Pack, my previous post was not entirely serious. My wife says my sarcasm is sometimes too much, and I don't like using the sarcasterisks unless it's really over the top rope. That's like having to explain the joke after you've delivered the punchline.

Johnson, that was no attack on you, just me being a sarcastic *** in his natural habitat. It's sometimes a blessing and a curse. My apologies.

I can be a negative dick, and an introvert to boot. I absolutely despise today's sewer pit of social media, and I sure dont dish out excessive accolades; yet I log in to Sixpack almost every day, and that certainly says something.

Cheers to every 17ing one of you. Good health to all, and best wishes. Even to 61, glfr, and Jungrebel.

Drebin, however, can kiss my *** for missing the fact that Kelly McGillis is now a fat hideous cat lady.**

I generally like posters that agree with me. I am neutral to those that may disagree, but I dislike those that disagree and throw in insults or try to belittle me or others. We all have different viewpoints and I can get along if we respectfully disagree. If you are going to spin or twist words and are intentionally disrespectful, game on.

No I don't.

Its a message board. If someone has enemies and allies on a sports message board, they need to step back and evaluate how they got to that point in life.

Don't have anyone I truly dislike. There's a few liberal posters who hijack damn near any chance they get and that drives me a little mad, but I have no problem with them and if I saw them walking down the street, I'd sure say hello and have a friendly chat and I'm sure we'd laugh about a lot of stuff.

I bet I have some folks who don't appreciate some things I say and that's fine. I know I put myself out there.

Says the guy who actually started a thread to take unprovoked potshots at people who apparently hurt your little feelings. Talk about a lack of self-awareness.

I can see why you don't like me. I haven't tended to suffer fools lightly, and have often, "punched back" when they pull the same kind of childish BS you have done in this thread. I'm still laughing at the whole idea of a grown man starting a thread so he can say who he doesn't like. Luckily for you, there are plenty of other morons on here who also don't realize how truly pathetic that is....an adult male acting like a high school "mean girl".

Triggered isn't quite right for me. More like I'm getting a good laugh and having fun making public just how juvenile you are for even starting this thread. Lately I've been ignoring these things, considering your type not worthy of the time spent to read your posts, much less respond to them, but these are unique times where we all seem to have more time on our hands than usual.

Truly, I have no idea who you are, or what you're about. I can't seem to recall having engaged with you, but that, too is not a surprise, as I can already tell you likely don't add much value. They are many way more interesting folks to engage here, including some with whom I don't agree or always "get along with". But at least they can offer a level of maturity & intelligence that makes them fun to debate, etc.

Pretty clear you're just another one of the many termites who infest nearly every message board, just looking for any chance to attack somebody else. Another of the many who suddenly found, "courage" when they could hide behind a keyboard, never having to actually back up their false bravado. And you guys always tend to "travel in packs", probably because it's a carry over from when you were too scared to stand alone. You need validation & backup. Goes a long way toward explaining this thread. You desperatey needed to call out & attack those who make you feel inadequate...even in these challenging times when we should all be pulling for and supporting one another. You knew if you did , there would be plenty of others like you who would be eager to "climb aboard".

Well, say what you want about who was, "triggered", but only one of us actually started a thread to take pot-shots at others in our community for no real apparent reason. Anyone with half-a-brain can see that. And while I don't care one bit about downvotes unless it's from someone I respect. I will say, IMO anybody who jumps on your bandwagon and supports this kind of unsoliticited attack belongs in the same low-class group of "internet bullies" as you.

Personally, I'd feel ashamed if I'd done what you did, but then it seems I have a different set of values than you, whoever you are.

How's that for triggered?

Did you expect people to read that?
Only those with an attention span greater than an ADHD-addled chijuajua. Probably the one it was a reply to, since he is obsessed enough to actually start a thread like this.

That short enough to not overwhelm you? Funny you didn't have time to read a 1 minute post, but did have enough time to reply.

I love everyone of you 17ers who are actually Bulldog fans. (there are a few posers, but they feel the need to stay engaged, so I figure I love them enough.)
Each one of you help me to articulate and sort through my inner State angst. Seriously, I love you all.

Mostly, however, I like to see Seinfeld comment, because I just can't get enough of Nathalie Emmanuel's sweet round bottom. He can type whatever he wants. Don't even matter.
