It seems Ole Miss folks don't want him at State. Joke was about a husband but narcissist folks want to make it about them.

This was likely covered his first day on the job.

Cohen- "Mike, two things you need to know; One, Joe Moorhead left you one giant **** sandwich, and two, be ready; the Clarion Ledger's only usefulness is if there's ever a toilet paper shortage."

What is this “Clarion Ledger” that you speak of and as a MSU fan why are you even clicking their site?

So you’re saying it’s worth picking up a copy? Where could I find one of these?

We're about to beat Ole Miss in football for a decade straight and shockingly they don't like that. Also with the shortage of toilet paper in this state the Clarion Ledger amazingly still holds no value whatsoever.

MSU people should stop buying the CL.

Do not click on any links to the CL.

Stop today.

Do not renew...actually cancel any subscriptions tomorrow.

You're responding to olblue about slanted reporting on recruiting shenanigans.

A Kentucky basketball fan lecturing us on our feelings about this is hilarious. Blue needs to STFU on this one.

A few things:

1 - Leach should not have shared anything he thought funny about hanging someone. Graveyard and capitol death comments do not belong in a public official's humor dialogue.

2 - Anyone offended by the comments like the joke he shared needs to get a life. The life they are promoting is a loser's life.

3 - The MSU sports program has lots of enemies (big and small). #1 is OM. Among the others, I would list all of the SEC west, followed by the SEC East schools and any others that compete for recruits or in sporting events.

4 - Mike is our head coach and he will be until he fails the school. His sharing of that joke was dumb, but I guess it is what he is. Sadly, now that our enemies know he has a weakness there, they will go for it every time they attack.

5 - Sadly, one weapon they will use is the Jackson/Gannet paper. I wish that weren't true, but I gave up on them a long time ago. Thankfully, the clock is ticking on that paper, and (sooner or later) they will be gone. I won't cry for them when it happens. Maybe a few of them will eventually realize Bulldog fans were a group their sports writers should have not alienated.

6 - Rant over.

I cannot fathom how anyone could look at that joke and come up with something sinister. Leach did absolutely NOTHING wrong.

To be fair, they've fired everyone making over $38,000 a year, so it could be the janitor writing articles at this point.

Nah, it's right on topic. A quarantine joke is naturally a racially sensitive issue, which is, of course, the primary concern of Clarion Ledger's biggest contributor.

Sorry, don't have the UM rebel flag memes handy. Perhaps Kysersoze can help me out.

Good grief....where can I see this tweet?
I first heard of The whole hub bub from a yankee coworker from CT, and he thought it was way over blown.

The joke was not about hanging someone. It was about couples being tired of each other. It was funny because old ladies and knitting go hand in hand. Like most good humor the twist is that the little old lady was knitting a noose to kill her husband. That unexpected twist is where the humor is. Not the noose. Not any actual death. Just the idea of a little old lady knitting while planning the demise of a husband who is on her nerves.

You get it now, right? Because you item 1) is wrong, as is other people who tried to tie to suicides, recent other deaths, etc. There was nothing wrong with him sharing that.

I honestly wish he would have tweeted "If you take this out of context and negative, you are an idiot. Don't @ me." He could've retired in Florida as a martyr for common sense...

I have no clue what the actually said

but if it was negative towards leach, this will make post game pressers even better. He’s not afraid to attack media members

Back in the day when you had the,"funny." page section of newspapers I could that scenario having been used in say Dagwood and Blondie and everyone would have laughed their *** off.

Hmmm

We're about to beat Ole Miss in football for a decade straight ....

A) You obviously don't follow the series very closely.

B) When it comes to noose jokes, OM isn't your enemy, it's every media outlet outside Mississippi.

So of them are so uninformed that I'm willing to bet somewhere it will be reported that the"Mississippi Bulldogs coach sent the tweet" or something similar.

Seems dark for Blondie and Dagwood.
