Regardless if you think it’s biblical or not, it’s still an interesting story.

But massive locusts swarms aren’t uncommon, relatively speaking. This is just the largest in decades.

The Locusts in Revelations are symbolistic as are all the references. It will be bad, and people will beg to die but there is much gnashing of teeth to happen before those events. The most important event that will happen before all of that horribleness being the Rapture. By the way, don’t follow too closely behind me if you see me driving in the left lane.

Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name claiming ‘I am the Messiah’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumor of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Honest question...

You interpret the locusts and other things are symbolic, which I'm taking to mean that locusts aren't actually going to swarm, so why is the rapture itself not also "symbolic". I grew up with a literal translation, but haven't read that or any other book of the Bible in years. Just wondering.
