with labor cases after this ? I know of a case of a company owner emphatically telling a concerned older employee with other health issues (after said employee expressed a desire to work from home) paraphrasing "we're not going home,we're working through this". Also, where would you guess a court will stand on this ?

I think the companies that have the ability to allow employees to work from home but are not allowing it are particularly at risk

Buy. We have a local realtor already dragging the city into courts because his business is essential and the city didn't include realtors... bit the county did...You know, realtors those bastions of public service that take 6% of your sale price of your home for sticking a yard sign out front, uploading a few photos to the MLS, and using your open house as a lead generation opportunity.

Not bashing all realtors, but honestly if that profession is essential in a public health emergency, who isn't?

Think about the companies who are arbitrarily having to decide who can work at home and who can't or making a decision about who is "vulnerable" and who is not. We are in uncharted waters and I could see an overwhelming number of lawsuits (many many will be frivolous of course) stacking up.

BUY in bulk. Businesses are having to make some difficult decisions & some businesses are prioritizing revenue over employees lives - that & you know Ambulance Chasers are gonna Chase Ambulances.

Commission sales professionals like realtors, sales reps, furniture, mobile homes, autos, are going to suffer early and often.

The most dangerous place on the planet to be.......between a realtor and his/her commission!
