Classes cancelled rest of week and won’t be taught in person rest of the month

I think Stanford and a couple other schools are cancelling in-person classes. Especially trying to piggy-back off Spring Break.

I was talking to a Vandy alumn earlier though, and I think they're just now getting back from Spring Break. So, pretty big disruption.

Stanford and Washington previously announced a similar policy— they run on the quarter system though and their terms end in a couple weeks— maybe three.

University of Washington has moved all classes on-line for the rest of March.

The economic impact of this could be rough. That said, it's very contagious. If it severely impacts the elderly at the high rates being reported, then I'm for any action/effort needed to contain it. It's seems were still in the infancy stages of trying to figure out what were dealing with on a local and a global level.

This is a serious matter for sure but it seems this is the type of total overreaction you get when you combine 24/7 news cycles and all out social media. You would think we were dealing with the Black Plague.

In the time it took to write this post. 6 American Babies were aborted. Now complain about a stupid virus all you want, but that virus will never match the number of abortions in the US of A. The fear is dripping with irony from people who couldn’t give two ***** about a fetus.
