Poor play is ruining the game. Starts with AAU.
Official sucked and the announcers for the game were all in for Alabama. The whole production was a "Alabama needs to be in the tourney" setup. Every player from Alabama played at a high level according to them and our best player, Perry, still needed some work because he is still a raw talent. That last foul they called against Perry was a complete joke and Dave Neal responded with, "Well, it looked like their waists might have touched!" What a tool.

The announcers werent at all for Alabama. They continually praised Perry, Woodard, Carter, Ado, Howland, and the effort on the court. They continually discussed(to an annoying degree) how the game was critical for BOTH teams due to being on the bubble.
As for Neal responding that there was some hip connecting on Perry's foul, that was after Fishback lost his mind over how bad the call was and Neal was half laughing when he pointed out that there was hip contact. It was basically a grasp at straws to explain why the call could have possibly been made. Fishback then laughed at that, completely dismissed it, and Neal didnt disagree at all. Why you ignore 90% of the commentary during that sequence is odd. 90% of the commentary was focused on how bad a call it was.
Its always interesting how people can see the same thing and come away with different accounts of what happened.
How you heard otherwise is beyond me. He made some positive comments about Perry before saying he still needs to work on a few things. The video features on players were Alabama all the way. I thought that happened primarily when we traveled to places like UK they show lots of features on the home team. Well, most of the night was highlights from Alabama. They did say that Howland was a final four coach. They discussed how both teams needed it but State more because of our weak resume. If Alabama had a call against them like Perry did then Neal would have just agreed with Fishback. He's an Ole Miss homer (married one). I agree with your last sentence. I'm still trying to figure out how you believe the announcers were unbiased.

Perry does need to work on a few things. A few glaring things- its why he is so low in mock drafts. When a player has a reputation as a top 5 player in the league as a sophomore and already tested the draft, then discussion revolves around his game at the next level. Great players are scrutinized more than mediocre players- go figure.
The announcers continually declared that Bama was out of sorts on offense after the elbow injury. They continually complemented Ado for his hustle.
As for your claim that if Bama had a call go against them like Perry's bad call, well thats an absurd claim on your part. You are now defending your position by claiming to know how they would have reacted to a hypothetical situation. Come on.
It isnt nearly as bad as you and others on here make it. Maroon colored glasses is a saying for a reason- reality doesnt look like how many MSU fans see it.
