Works out just right. Dak plays one more year at Dallas and then goes to Saints as a free agent. ;)

Good. The Saints have had the talent to win a Super Bowl for the last 3 seasons but have mucked it up (one of those not entirely their fault). This is their last chance for the foreseeable future. The talent is there.

Been kinda depressed since the worst 13-3 team ever (Packers) rode their **** schedule to the 2 seed when the Seahawks were too dumb to run up to the ball and sneak the 49rs into the 5 seed. God dammit, you're six inches away JUST RUN UP THERE AND SNEAK THAT SUMBITCH IN THERE. Pete Carroll on the goal line, I swear he just loses his mind...

That said, what do we need in the draft? Certainly need some speed at WR and this is a historically deep draft there.

I'm thinking the Saints are more focused on a high profile CB on the market than a receiver, thinking they pick up a CB in free agency and draft a receiver

OL, WR, LB, maybe CB depending on Apple/Jenkins in no order

Can we afford Daruis Slay? Wonder what the Lions would want for him. He is 29 and is due for a new contract, but I've read they are shopping him in the trade market.

Not sure if there's room in the cap for him but Lattimore & Slay together would be one of the best tandems in the league.

Drew coming back means Payton abandons the run again in the playoffs resulting in another loss to a team that the Saints have better players than....

It's amazing how good the Saints looked when Brees was injured and on the sidelines for a few weeks. They played more team ball during that stretch.

Defense and kamara being healthy helped in that run. Saints won 2 games in that run scoring 12 and 13, so I wouldn't call it amazing

Only 12 mil in cap room, Brees ain't taking that, they will need to get rid of some folks

If we had the cap space I would gladly take the our 1st and 2nd rounders and try to deal for Slay and Diggs. I trust Payton in the later rounds and I feel like this is pretty much the last year of the window with Brees.

No 2nd round pick
