Attended college at Mississippi State is a good enough reason to me. But I guess that’s asking too much.

I get why people make that comparison, but it's really a stupid comparison. Joe Burrough was a transfer too, so by that same logic, Costello should win the Heisman. There's no more reason to say I'm nervous about Costello because Stevens turned out to be mediocre (not necessarily all his fault though) than there is to say you're nervous about the latest 5* recruit we signed just because we had a 5* bust a few years ago.

We need all the fans we can get, so I will not discriminate against the bandwagon folks. By giving them a reason, I don't mean actual winning, we just need some excitement. We got it now, but unfortunately I'm not sure we can compete with the LSU folks at the moment. We might can steal back some the bandwagon bammers in Columbus and Meridian though.

Guy is gonna capture so much booty it’s ridiculous. Let’s hope the first mate shrader doesn’t get his feelings hurt, takes a red shirt, can learn leaches system and make a push to a NY6 bowl in ‘21, ‘22, and ‘23. The black spot awaits some spineless codfish on our team.

Too much. Ease it up 10 fold, please.

I mean Mike's track record makes it completely different. I do find it interesting that Minshew was his backup until his starter got hurt. Either those guys were equals, or Minshew didn't show as well in practice as he did in games. The similarity is that JoMo and Leach are both willing to upset the apple cart to get who they think the best guy is in place. The difference is that Mike has proven that he can find and coach that guy.

Or experience (repetitions)is more valuable in this offense for a qb than we realize.

Mike is certainly different. I think Joes offense had so many critical moving parts that it was susceptible to break down, especially if the qb wasn't confident in his decisions.

With Leech, it seems like the Qb needs to commit quickly and use his muscle memory. We he supporting cast seems to have base assignments.
