I’m going pork butt. 9 lbs. Fox Bros rub, combination of apple wood and hickory. Probably hit it with a BBQ glaze about 30 minute before it’s ready to come off.

Haven’t quite decided between nachos or sliders tonight yet.

What’s everyone else doing?

We're having a work party so I'm at the mercy of the hosts, but I did spend a few hours whipping up a Tiramisu for the party last night.

For lunch, mussels and scallops in a garlic, onion, and tomato broth. Thanks Costco.

Not necessarily for the game, but smoked some peanut butter and jelly baby backs yesterday with pecan pellets that may be the best ribs I’ve ever eaten.

For the grill...chicken drummettes, will smoke with some apple wood. Will use buffalo and tiger sauce to coat on some of each. Jalapeño and cheese country pleasin’ sausage. And of course burgers.

Women are responsible for dips, sides, etc.

Haha. Nice. Never heard of it, but can’t be that bad.

Seems like all that sugar might burn. You add it towards the end?

Got our supper club friends coming over for a Super Bowl Supper Club. I’m gonna fix two pots of chili. One with deer burger and one with just ground beef. Planning on projecting game on side of garage and building a fire outside. Desert will be a build your own s’mores bar.

Slight hijack: what type of projector do you have?

I waked and baked with leftover cold pizza. Now I’m real hungry, two ***** in let’s go!

I finished the tinfoil pirate ship I started last night. I have a bag of specks I plan to sail into a buttery abyss. Fresh taco fixings everywhere.

Deer burgers are defrosted. Bout to roll up a bunch of meatballs and inject with the Mexican white cheese.

Burgers and jalapeños popper dip. Gone for 21hrs yesterday coaching an indoor track meet. I’m not really feeling like going all out right now. I’d be happy with a frozen pizza, a sleeping pill and two fingers of whisky.

Couple of Rib Eyes dusted with a combination of Montreal Steak seasoning and Bully’s Steak Dust. Probably do some garlic mash or garlic grits with a small salad. Cooked a big breakfast so we probably won’t eat lunch. I’ll make up some cheese dip mid afternoon for snacking.

If you're ever down in Yazoo Co. go by Hines grocery and pick up some of their sausage. They have a smaller processor make it for them and it's damn good. A must stop on the way to camp.

I got some A5 Wagyu Ribeyes what have been sitting in Dale's since Tuesday. In a couple hours I'll grind it and make a really good meatloaf.

Boiling 3 sacks of crawfish along with all the fixins. Plenty of beer will be consumed, but not sticking with just one kind. I like to switch it up.

Had some wings brining since last night. Will throw them on the camp chef pellet to smoke for a couple hours.
Had some coors left in the fridge that I just cracked so it looks like I’m drinking coors today

2-2-1 method, added it in the wrapped stage and then again in the last hour. No burn, rather a bit of caramelization.

It's my 2nd favorite. No telling how many pounds of it I've eaten in my lifetime. I started buying it from them when they were in that little building off Holly Bush Rd way out in rural Ranking county back in the mid to late 90's, but, once I had Conecuh sausage from Evergreen, AL I was a changed man.

The Country Pleasin Jr is really good but I just like the Conecuh better. Try the Country Pleasin Boudin, its really good but they don't seem to have it all the time so stock up when they do. Their stuffed chicken and pork chops are really good too.
