If he went to school at another school (I.e Lewisburg) would we have offered him a scholarship?

Have no clue on the answer to that, but he's a 2020 signee, so I'm guessing we have a pretty good handle on who we can sign at this point. If he's getting the nod b/c he's from starkville, he is getting the nod in a tie break situation. It's not like we are maybe jumping the gun with an offer in September.

I don't know anything about his grades, but, 5'10" 167lbs doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of many DB's and their coaches. Add a grade problem (if one exists) to that and I think you have your answer why he hasn't had much interest from larger programs. That said, that little guy from Louisville had 9 catches and 149 yds against us in the Music City Bowl so size isn't everything either but it definitely is a big factor. That, or our DB's just sucked which isn't out of the question considering the preparation we appeared not to have for that game (and several others).

After watching that video it’s apparent none of those guys are sec ready and will need to RS. Harvey was the most polished route runner of the bunch. Forbes will need to gain about 10-15 pounds and work on his technique a lot.
After watching that video it's apparent to me that we are getting the best athletes in MS. Yeah they need to redshirt like most of them but it's been a while since our roster was this stacked for 3 classes in a row. Furthermore, after watching that video, the two best receivers in the class might be Harvey and Wilson, although Walley looked pretty damn good too.

He needs to put on a few pounds but how big does a slot receiver need to be? What was Jameon Lewis? Maybe 5'10, 180lbs?

Kevin Prentiss was 5-7", 155. As a Senior.

I know he's wearing white gloves in that video but his hands look huge. Anybody know what they measure?

That was a different coach and era. Size doesn't matter much at the WR position. The average NFL receiver is only about 6'1". I'm not too worried a 5'10" receiver will have any issues in college due to his size.

I don't believe I said that at all, I added to the stats the other poster put up and left it at that. But now that you butted in, I looked a little closer and a 48yd/game avg and a TD only every 4 games he played in doesn't exactly give me goose bumps. His stats rank him 25th all time, Hoss......

lol when you have mid-40s completion percentage Matt Wyatt throwing you the ball and True Freshman Wayne Madkin during the mid to late 90s, it’s kind of difficult to put up big stats. Kelvin Love’s stats don’t backup how insanely good he was.
