I haven’t listened to the new album much. Good? I’m sure it is for the record.

I'm old. I had no idea who the hell any of these folks were. Something called Billie Ellish won multiple awards. Then said her music was about suicides, depression, climate change. I'll stick to acid rock, 70s music, arena rock and the such. I'm sorry, but that was simply awful to listen to.

One thing that’s becoming painfully common about a lot of today’s pop stars is that anytime you’re treated to something that’s either outside of the studio or not lip synced, it’s just bad

My wife keeps telling me that Billy Eilish is amazing, you just have to understand her art. I guess I’ll try that as soon as I get over the Lil Baby performance from SNL that we just watched.

While I’ve not listened to her, my friends who have teenage children say that their teenagers love her.

I was watching the movie Brightburn and her song bad guy played in the closing credits. Had no idea who it was, but thought it was pretty damn unique and good so I Googled the artist. She looks like a complete freak, but I'm giving her credit for the music I've heard. And I'm a 50+ fan of 70-90's music.

My "get off my lawn comment", why the 17 do so many current acts need 100 various performers on stage with them? Gotta be hella expensive to tour.

She's 18 (and was younger when her current music was created)

so in that context, the subject matter makes a ton of sense. She has a unique sound, and her music has a lot of really catchy beats. She's not for me, but I completely get it.

I read a comment today that her singing sounds like Fiona Apple trying to mumble rap.

I'm officially old because I don't have the energy to pretend to like any of this crap.
