1. Joe Moorhead. WTF dude? It was like he wasn't here. Then he was. Then he wasn't again. Do you think his buddies are hacking on him? You know the buddies I'm speaking of. The HS/college buddies that you laugh with and at.

2. So I was listening to Rosie ( for the record I like Rosie ). He says he has coached every sport except football ( I think football ). That he has won championships at every sport. The part that struck me was he coached Taekwondo (sp?). Now I can totally picture this. We have a boss at work ( not my boss but a lot of peoples ) that trains and teaches Kung Fu. Looks like he is going through some **** at all times lol.Brags that he has a "weapons rack" in his garage. I bet Steve has a "weapons rack". Nun chucks, throwing stars and ****.

3. Basketball seems to be hitting an upswing. Bet they change my mind. It seems like we have been wandering in the desert for YEARS. I did win money against Arkansas.

4. The pirate hire has grown on me. Feels a lot like the Sherrill hire. A guy that knows how to win and marches to his own drum. Pirates for Leach. Clowns for Sherrill.

5. Man I'm ready for baseball.

6. Speaking of baseball. JT Ginn is an absolute beast! And I already miss the mayor

7. It seems like my Direct TV bill is to dam high every month. I get the bill and I'm like " WTF man! "

8. The " key on my keyboard is not working correctly. I have to pound the SOB to get it to work.

9. The girls basketball is consistent man. What a coach Vic is.

10. The Elite dawgs board is crazy huh? The Bert guy was entertaining though. Hail State!

Could this be a money year for Ginn? Is he draft eligible at the end of the season? Seems like I saw where he is turning 21 before the next draft but I could be thinking of someone else.

I couldn’t believe Rosebowl’s “Mr. Miyagi” rant.

That said, anyone ever notice how much of his podcast you can pretty much just skip over? There’s nothing worse than hearing him be like “let’s run the numbers” then getting a game-by-game breakdown of some random transfer’s rushing total from the MAC.

JoMo gets the last and loudest laugh when he shows his buddies his bank balance

Soooo much. Usually the first 5 minutes, then I filter through it until I find some recruiting info. I can get everything else from thunder and lightning without the company line and sunshine

Coached every sport but football and won championships ? Wow...surprised he isn't a big money coach somewhere. Championship coaches are in demand. Even Joe was only unemployed for 2 weeks.

DTV, my bill was ~120 and when I realized it (wife is the accountant) i flipped. Called and told them it had to come down or I was out, and meant it. Talked to ‘bob’ who sounded like the guy at the gas station, to ‘mary’ who sounded like she lived next door, and now it’s 62 a month.
But you gotta mean it when you threaten to leave.

You must be better at that than I am. I used to be able to get them to throw everything at me to stick around, but ever since they merged with AT&T, it's like they'll barely lift a finger. In the past, I'd get by for a few months and eventually go back to DTV after I became eligible for promotions, but I'm pretty sure that I'm 100% done with them this time. It's just not worth the hassle when YouTubeTV is $50

If a place was only open about 30% of its normal hours to begin with, does this even become news when they close full time?

I can’t count how many times I drove 15 minutes one way over to Chuck Wagon craving some tasty brisket, just to find a sign on the door saying they were closed for some random as hell reason. One time somebody had the flu, so they closed the whole restaurant for the day. One time they got broken into and robbed the register, and they closed the whole restaurant because the lock on the door wasn’t fixed yet (literally turned away an entire day’s worth of business because they couldn’t get a simple door repair completed).

True mom and pop shop...I always wondered why it was they were so cavalier about just turning away business, and I’m not surprised at all that they weren’t willing to come to an agreement on the code violations. Good BBQ though.

They got better the last year or so they were opened. They actually had other staff that could run the place. I think the code violations were such that the landlord would not pay to have things updated. Plus they were making a lot more money off of the catering side of things.

That would make sense. As often as they were randomly closed, there is no way they could have kept up the rent payments unless they were paying next to nothing to occupy the building. More often than not, you get what you pay for. I’ll for sure check them out again at the Uncle Maddio’s spot though. Neither the food nor the service was ever a problem when they were up and running.

So is Uncle Maddios closing? I eat there a lot and they always have a pretty full house

I dunno, but it’s been pretty sparse every time I’ve popped in there. Those pop-up “instant pizza” places seem to have been a fad that aren’t really doing all that well on the whole. That Pizza 120 place over by Balch Rd didn’t make it very long. The one at Bridge Street is doing alright for now, but the others seem to be your typical revolving door places.
