Did anyone watch Duke vs Clemson last night?

I hope Cohen watched and took notes. Clemson defeated Duke and that arena was jacked up. I know it would be like us playing KY. But this is the night after Clemson lost the Natty in football. You would of thought that most of the fan base would be down and hungover from the night before.

But the students were there in droves and they were side court. They made the place rowdy. They were opposite side of the cameras broadcasting the game thus the cameras weren’t showing a bunch of older fans sitting there like they were watching a tennis match. After the game ended the students stormed the court and were genuinely excited.

Clemson is very similar to MSU. They have two major universities in a small state. They have 23,000+/- students (Wikipedia). They have to recruit against South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina. They don’t have a huge metro area.

Most Clemson fans don't give a hoot about basketball.

They just blew 45mm renovating their arena and then re-upped Brownell last year. Fans don't understand why, but don't give a ****. Monte Lee the baseball coach is on the hot seat however.

They have a metropolitan area larger than Jackson, nearly 900,000 within a 50 mile radius of Greenville, SC.

A lot of Wake Forest fans were livid with the AD when he hired Jeff Bzdelik while Brownell was "available." Certainly worked out a lot better for Clemson than it did for Wake.

I totally agree, but my point was they don’t have a “MAJOR” metro in there their backyard. Sorta like MSU the nearest major metro is 2hours+ away! Charlotte, NC two plus hours to Clemson. Atlanta, GA two hours to Clemson.
