Still no names on a DC.

And a needed guy is now not enrolling early. We need Key

I Guarantee the new DC will have one. Just be patient.

LOL!

I fear our fans are setting themselves up for disappointment with this, and that anyone not named Grantham or Strong (neither of which it will be) is going to be viewed as a lackluster hire. Granted, we could make an actual lackluster hire, but there’s every chance it’s a good one that people just aren’t as familiar with.

Not setting myself up for not getting a "big time" DC. I'm more concerned about players that we need not enrolling like Ben Key. Players we must have. Not enrolling means he doesn't go through spring and all of the S&C for 6 months.

THE SKY IS FALLING!

Some of our fans are always looking for something to worry about. It’s been 4 days calm the hell down.

Ben Key was iffy after Joe was fired.

[TheStateUofMS]

We shouldn't have fired Joe without a plan to get a DC in place the day after a new HC would be named!!!!***

Pretty sure it's this guy. It's gonna be okay.

[Ralph Cramden]

Its gonna be fine. Take a few deep breaths. Ben Key won't make any difference on the success of this team. Bye Ben. Onward and upward

We’re hiring a strength coach as defensive coordinator? No wonder everyone is flipping out***

[DoggieDaddy13]

I am sorry. Brown is going to be the SC

You guys can continue obsessing about the DC.

I've been more worried about strength and conditioning. Carry on.

Why is our fan base so tormented about something that has not even happened to our team?

[Ibdancin]

LMAO! at all of the "sky is falling".. "why is our fan base".

Nothing about this post was any of that. Nobody crying in the corner with thumb in mouth over anything. It's a simple conversation about what's happening. Some of you guys are over the top in either direction on every thread.

Because torment gets you more attention than acceptance

Looks like we might hire Ryan Walters from Missouri. He’s the DC there and has done a great job for them. Played at Colorado from 04-08. He’s interviewed twice with Leach
