I mentioned this in another thread earlier this week but in modern college football it's becoming pretty uncommon for one P5 program to pull a coach from another without some extenuating circumstances (like Loafers/Mullen to UF). Cohen did something very unique here.

They should want to keep him. Their previous coach was 9-40 in four seasons. Leach was 55-47 in eight years. Their previous eight-year stretch was 29-66. Their fans are apparently a little more knowledgable than some of ours.

I was thinking the same thing. They appear to have an offense more suited to JoeMo and the Pac12 is nowhere near the quality on defense.

I saw that show. Leach is a strange character, but highly intelligent. He runs a tougher program than I would have guessed. Competitive practices. Leach knows what he's doing. I'm not sure using the 17 word so casually around players is cool, but the culture is what it is.
