Why not, the guy has a 139-90 career record (55-47 at WSU), he has been the Big 12 coach of the year and Pac 12 coach of the year twice, taken his team to a bowl game 16 out of 18 years. His entire Head Coaching career has been in Lubbock and Pullman. It is easier to recruit to MSU than either of those places, especially defensive talent. I think it could work until he is ready to retire.

I’d take Leach in a heartbeat. Imagine how he’d decorate the visitors locker room.

Entertaining to watch Bama, LSU and Auburn score a combined 200 points on us.

Imagine egg bowl week with Leach and Kiffin. That alone almost makes me want us to hire him.

Could he win 7-8 games a year in entertaining fashion? Consistently? At this point I’d be in for that. Who are we fooling?

If we score 170 then yeah, that could be entertaining. We were out scored 130-53 this year. That was not entertaining.

When you say it like that, Leach’s resume is pretty incredible. So he’s kinda weird and an over the top smartass? He’d fit right in at SPS.

Exactly. I think a couple years ago, they did outscore us by something like 170. Maybe the 5-7 year.
