I don’t care that a few people may have issues with him from past or whatever. He WANTS to be here and will not be looking to leave. He can get a great staff with the money leftover, he can recruit and will motivate our kids and have plenty of discipline.

I'm not thrilled with his resume, but the only 2 candidates I was excited by are out, so why the 17 not.

I don’t think Hud was directly linked to the Saunders stuff. Regardless, like I said, HUD wants to be here and wants MSU to win and this is his dream job.

Things happen for a reason and I really have hope he can be our Ed O here. Pay top money for the best assistants and get this machine rolling.

HUD has been a winner at every level and knows the HS and JC ranks around the state. He was fired at UL yes, but it was because the NCAA cloud and losing seasons but he turned them around He also just turned Austin Peay around and they made the playoffs for the first time in about 40 years!

Hud would be great. It is really a shame the NCAA mess hit at ULL while he was there. That will be the reason we likely won't touch him but he is a very good coach and wants to be here every bit as much or more than Judge did before the Giants offer.

I don't know about the all in part. But screw Huds past and what the NCAA and Bracky think. Hire HUD with an understanding of complete compliance (which would do with any coach) and go about our business.

I think 90-95% of our base would have no problem getting on board with Hud. We know what we are getting with him. Very few unknowns, if any. Can’t say that about any other candidates.
