And he made it. He shot 4 FTs and made them too. So, when we got the ball to him we scored except when he fumbled it. I don't understand why we didn't get it to him more. Auburn plays good defense but 3 shots?

We don't run an offense. And we especially don't run one designed to get guys shots. It's one on one dribble drive with a post guy and 4 wings. Throw in the occasional high ball screen.

We take really bad shots. When our guys drive to the basket it's a lot of times a forced shot with a defender all over them. And when they kick out it's to a guy who has been standing in one place for a few seconds and the defender is already in place to contest it. Very seldom are our guys shooting shots with feet set and a little space to set.

You play good basketball with your feet and we are trying to do it with our hands. I don't expect this team to make post season play. We have athletes playing basketball and not enough shooters. Whether that's howland not teaching or players not knowing how to do it, it is what it is.

Until we get a higher basketball IQ every SEC game will be a struggle
