Hudspeth is not the answer. Kiffin will swallow that rube up and spit him out. This is go big or go home time and the only answer is MIKE LEACH. Make Leach tell you no. Leach would be the Lane antidote. Huge personality, smart as hell, unique offense....State wouldn't lose an inch to Kiffin or Ole Miss in the national media.

Hudspeth aint going anywhere. He was on exactly NOBODY'S short list this year. State can always circle back to Hud at a later date if need be. He won't be hard to find...just go to Austin Peay's weight room and find the bench presses. Roid-Head Hud will be in there pumping out 225 like nobodies business.

Does Washington State even have fans? He went 11-2 last year in Pullman Washington and won the Pac-12 North. Do you know where Pullman Washington is? Of course you don't, nobody does. Leach will think he has died and gone to heaven with the amount of blue chippers in this state. The coach before him won 9 games in 4 seasons. I'll repeat that....9 games in 4 years. Leach has won 55 games since taking over that disaster.

Well with that kind of success, major P5 programs must be beating his door down. Trust me, he's right where he belongs, blowing 32 point 3rd quarter leads to UCLA on Pac 12 after dark.

Since you mentioned it, Tennessee was all set to hire him but Fat Phil kyboshed the deal and pushed for Pruitt. Who do you want tatedog? Hud? Napier? Napier might be ok. Good pedigree there. But Dear God no Hud.

I don't want a guy who has a reputation as a lazy recruiter, plays no defense, and scares the **** out of every P5 AD whose fans give a damn about football. Let's start there. Frankly, I'm much more concerned about how this is being handled by our administration than by the particulars of the new hire. They've given me no reason to trust them on this.

Mike leach is 7-8 win coach in the SEC. There is zero reason to think he would do anything more than keep us as a middle of the pack SEC team (and bottom of the SEC west)

I like leech, but don't want him as a coach. He has been around long enough for everyone to know what he is.

He's good, not great. I rather try to become something more than just a 7 win program

He was Hal Mumme's OC when the music stopped playing in Lexington. How many coaches has UK hired since then? How many times have we seen them scream for Mike Leach? I rest my case.

Leach is entertaining, funny, strange, and quoteable. Yes, he's won 55 games there, but, he's also lost 47 and has a losing conference record. In addition to that he just got an extension through '24 so that ship has sailed, pun intended. I would be pissed if he were offered
