I want to start off by saying that I’m glad we were chosen to play or Cohen got us to Nashville whatever it was. Going into the game yesterday I had no emotion whatsoever. I’ve been to home and road games alike to understand what could have and ultimately wound up happening. Now to some observations.
The program as a whole needs a overhaul and something that I think hasn’t been stated enough if the social media program. It clearly states that dog walk is northeast side of stadium and fans all over were asking each other where it was No one had a true answer. Next the cheerleaders my heart goes out to you ladies. I talked to some of the ladies on squad and it’s a damn shame that whoever is in charge had those ladies without the pants it was chilly and they were out there in regular unis no pants. I noticed they didn’t have pants on into half so hopefully none of them come up sick.
Now to the game. I’m proud of all the maroon and white that made the trip I thought we were heavily represented and had more fans than Louisville. However that being said I feel like their fans team etc wanted to be there and it was more of a chore for our fans. They were excited and loud all game doing their chants etc.
When we were up 14 points I told my wife I’m not satisfied with the lead nothing about it gives me confidence. Once again we were out coached outplayed outsmarted. They were running trick plays we could only fathom. I don’t know what the deal was with kylin but I would hate to know that was my last game in the maroon and white. Another item how in the hell do you come off a month break and have so many more players get hurt? I would love to see our teams going forward not be afraid to play from behind. Brian and cam not playing yesterday was very selfish and very noticeable especially as their wrs made us look like Zach smith was in the secondary. For those that want to defend them look at the three first round draft picks that played in the outback bowl last season. Cam is projected late day 2 early day three pick don’t see the selfishness in not playing.
October 12 took something out of me and there is a lost empty feeling about the program moving forward. I was as stated not even mad yesterday but my wife on the other hand was livid. I know another topic has been started about renewals but my 5 lower level season tickets will not be renewed going forward. We have no identity not only as an offense but as a team.
Again thank you to the fans that made the trip and hope changes are made going forward.
