if a press conference was called for Friday or Saturday. I have nothing to base this on other than I just don't see how this how this disaster cannot be dealt with decisively and soon. We've got a real mess on our hands.

Its the only way 2020 is not a complete disaster. we are going to have games where there might be legitimately 20K in the stands unless something is done. I have had a few conversations with folks at my church...far less vocal and far more forgiving than myself towards the program and more willing to blindly support the team, that have told me they arent renewing. its shocking what joe has done to our culture in such a short time.

That's what should happen of course. But with this administration and our old

timer donors, a press conference later this week would be more likely to announce a raise and extension rather than fixing this mess. I'm furious with Keenum and Cohen but a large part of the problem is we have people in high places, cigar boys, if you will, that have only 3 things they consider as goals. Beating Ole Miss, going to a bowl, and having a nice guy to talk to on the golf course as a coach. There is literally no sack to any of these guys. Especially after JoeMo ***** slapped them and got away with it after the Egg Bowl.

This would be a dream becoming reality. I'm just afraid we don't have the administration in place to pull the trigger.

It's just too radical of an idea for the second coming of the Lonnie Tinkle administration.

I would be. I have zero confidence in Cohen or Keenum to do what needs to be done.

State" powers that be" simply aren't interested in being committed or dedicated to having a top notch football program. They're not willing to allocate the resources necessary to accomplish it. They DO want to be considered competitive and not be embarrassed...that's just the way it is....apparently. On the other hand, contrast this with the baseball program. And what do we have for an AD?

In 2008, Byrne wasn’t expecting to fire Croom, but he gave that bonehead a set of demands and Croom refused.

I’m holding out hope that Cohen will do the same, Joe will refuse, and that will be that. It’s likely our only hope right now

The offense was clearly the handicap for Croom, so Byrne calling for that change was reasonable.

What demand does Cohen make of Moorhead? Everything in this program is a **** show from top to bottom on and off the field. There is not a competently managed aspect of our program to contrast with the rest. And there is only one answer to this. Two answers if not dealt with quickly.

I don’t think Cohen would cobra up if Mooronhead refused. This isn’t a bus full of 18-22 year old kids he chewed out on the way home from Oxford his first year at State. Cohen will get confused with power = money, look at what he and Mooronhead are making and think Mooronhead is in fact his boss.

I think the right people are finally pissed off. I’m not talking about RoseBowl and Gene. This feels a lot like the pit bottom of Crooms last hours. I can tell ya, there’s a few folks not celebrating tonight.
