Did anyone else get one? About how because of advances in their service there will be a slight increase in the monthly bill?

I've not seen my new bill yet, but have read where some folks have seen a $15-$20 increase in their bill.

My favorite was the notice that my bill would be increasing due to the rising cost of cable network fees. I don't have cable through MaxxSouth. Only Internet. But fiber has recently been deployed in my neighborhood. Trying to decide to go all-in (cable and internet) with MaxxSouth or with C-Spire. What say you?

I’ve had C Spire fiber internet and TV for about 3 years. The internet is great and their TV package is pretty good also. Their fast internet makes streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Video, Disney+, etc. work seamlessly. C Spire is not cheap, but worth it IMO.

MaxxSouth Cable is terrible

when we moved to north ms, i went with direct tv bundle and after two years wanted faster internet, so i switched it all to maxxsouth because the internet was faster than att could give me....just went bundle.....the TV was so bad after 8 months, my wife called and switched back to direct tv....maxxsouth is archaic tv...

im gonna cord cut once they lay the fiber by my house...

I’ve had the MaxxSouth 110 Mbps for almost 2 years at $80/month (had the 1gig fiber before that but moved to an area of Starkville that didn’t have fiber.) Just got off the phone with them and the cost is going up to $89.50/month. The slowest they’d be able to offer me now is 105 Mbps for $85/month.

We’ve never had any problem with their internet service, and while I think 110 Mbps is overkill for most people, we do a lot of streaming (some in 4K), and I don’t think AT&T offers much speed with their DSL where we live. I say all that to say I reckon I’ll have to live with the price increase for now.

I have the cable/internet bundle. Just got my first bill since the increase - $13. I'm now up to $156/month.

I now have a renewed sense to find another option now. Cspire just put fiber in out neighborhood, but I heard that it is also expensive.

Got a $12 a month increase coming from C Spire fiber home TV in February. $5 for programming cost increases, $5 a month increase for the DVR box (that we already pay $10 month for), and ~ $2 a month increase for local channel access. I suspect the $5 DVR increase is to push people toward their streaming TV service, so that they don't have to keep maintaining aging equipment in the homes, or buy new equipment.
