Or Jimmy sexton saw an opportunity to get his client more money from Arkansas when the ole miss job became available. Ole miss threw Lane’s brother under the bus a few years ago did they not? I don’t see it happening but who knows. I hope it happens. He’ll leave ole miss in waste.

This lines up with everything coming out of the Ole Miss circles (I’m also a nobody, but I do have a couple good sources at OM through sheer luck and circumstance). Kiffin wants the job, badly. For whatever reason. And similar to Uncle Ruckus, this is coming from a secondhand source, but his (or her?? woooo boy do I know how to play this game! Sooo important, I am) source is extremely close to Kiffin.

With that said, Norvell is still stringing OM along, and he’s their #1 choice. So, there’s still a chance that he strings them along enough to where OM misses on both. But, I do feel like Kiffin will be Ole Miss’s coach come Sunday afternoon, if I had to bet a lunch on it.

Actually it would be a strong indication that y'all have lost your collective minds. How Kiffen keeps convincing athletic directors he knows what he is doing is just amazing. He IS good at that. Coaching, not so much.

Well, they are a school of wannabes. It's a perfect fit. I've said it for years. He is the Ole Miss of football coaches. Tubs was a fit, at Ole Miss, Freeze was a fit, Kiffin is a perfect fit. All snake oil salesmen. And all would have been president of the student body have they gone to Ole Miss.

I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be announced, regardless of who it is, until after the conference championship game’s. But, in all fairness, when should Ole Miss (or Arkansas or FSU) hire a coach? With this early signing period, every day that goes by is incredibly valuable.
