Arizona Cardinals player David Shaw got suspended for betting on NFL games. He got caught because when he set up his account at Caesars , he listed professional football player as his occupation. Then he bet against his own team, and lost. Not surprisingly, Caesars alerted the Nevada gaming commission and the NFL. I'm guessing his Mensa application was denied.

Really really dumb. Given the sheer amount of crap Vegas allows you to be on, you pick the one thing you can't. Even if you're on the 17ing injury reserve list.
