Better if he prepares a team to actually play with a pulse and team has a good showing. After watching several videos from locker room on social media, it’s clear that players really like him and support him and want him here. I hope he can start by making the most of his bowl practices and bowl game.

I am begging him to win the bowl game. I really don’t want to deal with another offseason of nothing but negativity. Very important that he finishes on a high note and can have some more positive talking points going into next year.

I’d like to see who we are playing first. Would really not be a good look for us to get worked by a 6-6 ACC team though.

A bowl game isn’t really going to change my opinion of him, but a solid win can certainly build some momentum heading into the offseason.

On the other hand, a repeat of the Outback bowl would be a disaster - just more of the same. He’d start 2020 with one of the hottest seats in college football

No one game could ever make me forgive or forget the **** show that has been his tenure thus far. But I can't bear pulling for us to lose just to speed his departure.

That said, if we are destined to lose, I hope we lose something-to-O vs a team that has given up a lot of points in every other game so there might be a glimmer of hope our decision-makers wake up and realize the huge mistake that has been Joe Moorhead, and send him packing.

No. One game will not undo 2 years of unprepared, undisciplined, poor game plans, and poorly coached teams. The ONLY way I’d get back on the bandwagon is sustained success (wins) through 5-6-7 games against teams with a pulse (where we don’t have a decided talent advantage). Continuous tangible improvement, not the lucky dog award for bumbling his way to a fluke win here and there. Beat some teams he’s not supposed to.I’m not holding my breath.

Actually my opinion of him started to change for the better this last week and while watching the EB as I was contemplating just how absurdly stupid it would be to fire a MSU coach that has gone to two straight bowls in his first two seasons with two EB wins only to replace him with a totally unproven Louisiana-Lafayette coach. All I could think of was that we'd be totally sabotaging our own program if we did so and we'd be getting rid of a much better coach than the guy everyone wants to replace him with. These boards bitched and bitched about Mullen for over half a decade all the way up to the minute he left for Florida. That same guy that everyone bitched about is suddenly revered like he's Nick Saban despite having the exact same record in his last 25 games here that Moorhead has in his first 25 yet Moorhead is treated like he's Chad Morris. There's a sickness plaguing this fanbase right now. All sense of reason has left half the posters for some reason. It's a snowball effect for the negative.

I am seeing a pattern with people across more than sports message boards. The anonymity and the desire for people to “like” our opinions seems to be a pretty toxic combination. Add a narcissist personality and it has all the properties of a spark in a fireworks plant. Our team has certainly not looked well coached, but the single source argument is just laziness. Many factors are contributing. In spite of them we still made a bowl in a rebuilding year.

oh well. Off with their heads.

The bowl game can’t change my opinion for the worse. Maybe a little bit for the better. Can’t read too much either way into a mid-tier bowl. They’ve become not much more than glorified exhibitions.

So, I guess you enjoy not competing at all against quality SEC opponents...It's usually over by the 1st quarter, right? You get what you deserve...

Mullen & Grantham got absolutely skull17ed by Auburn & Georgia in back to back weeks in 2017. You forget that? The year before that Mullen lost to South Alabama and barely beat Miami of Ohio to finish with a losing record. You forget that too?

Maybe we will find our offense in the bowl game like Auburn did last year. I think they put up 63 points. Just a thought, I don't expect that to happen though.

2017 Auburn beat UGA and Bama: Bama won the national title over UGA that year.
We beat LSU 37-7
We lost to OM due to a cheap shot on Fitz
We won 4 straight after the UGA loss

Mullen proved he can coach and is/was worth the 6 million we offered to pay to keep him. Joe hasn't proven jack-****....

It could especially if we play Texas in the Texas Bowl in Houston. We’ll be outnumbered in fans 4-1 or more, so it’ll be close to being a true road game. All players should be ready to go, so no excuses there. If we were to go out there and look prepared, confident, and play hard it could change my thoughts. If we look per usual on a JoMo road trip(sloppy, disinterested, look like we’d rather be somewhere else)it would just piss me off more the other way. So, according to site and opponent the bowl could change my feelings.

I admire the stupidity of anyone who thinks we would fire a second year coach. Maybe they could understand potential coaches understand commitment well enough to know if we fire Joe the second year, we might fire them the first year. Look at Arkansas to see what can happen.

Joe may work and he may not. I can remember days when much of this board praised the administration for bring him here. I certainly want the team to preform better and am afraid they are performing to their full potential in a very competitive business. Next year will provide more data on how Joe can coach then guys he is able to recruit.

We were down two touchdowns when Fitz went down. It is revisionist to say we would have won 2017 egg bowl.

No Fitz got hurt on our 2nd series with 9 minutes left in the 1st and OM leading 7-0. He threw an interception in our 1st series.

It wouldnt make me feel 100% better but it would be a good start. Youve got 3 or 4 weeks to get ready with all the tutorgate guys. If they come out looking lost and unprepared and making a bunch of mistakes then you know that he has learned nothing from the criticism he has gotten. If we play well there is at least hope that he is changing how he prepares our team.
