His last three years at ULL were losing season and that's not adding in that he put them on probation.

His last 3 seasons were an anomaly brought on by NCAA sanctions because a couple of former Ole Miss coaches on his staff tried to use some of the same system they set up and ran at OM and got busted. He also took a reasonable chance on former LSU QB Anthony Jennings, who turned out to be a bust.

Aside from the 3, "asterisks years", he's been a damn good coach, taking over bad programs and making them consistent winners. We would not play like pussies under Hud, and he would not tolerate a ****** S&C coach.

We can agree to disagree on how things ended with him at ULL. But if you don’t think Hud would have State hitting folks in the mouth and playing competitive football, you’re crazy. He’s an energetic recruiter and a proven winner. And he we all know he wants to coach here. Will likely never happen, but he’d be a great fit at State.

Maybe, but not necessarily. It's plausible he assumed Saunders and the other guy were just that good at recruiting because Ole Miss didn't tell anyone about the cheating. It's possible Saunders & the other guy decided it would be best to not involve Hud, and just be judged on the recruits they were able to get eligible.

It's not impossible. Either way, I'm not turned off of Hud any more than fans of other schools whose HC is in a program you know damn well is cheating to some extent (not Ole Miss level though).

Although my post quoted you it was meant for the entire board so don't take it personal. As far as gambling goes I literally have zero issue with it. How the man spends his money/time as long as it's legal and not breaking any ncaa rules is his business not mine. Nobody else should have issue with it either.
