To me this is one of my biggest questions about Moorhead. Did he choose this piss-poor "staff" because he made bad decisions or was he "budgeted" into it by the administration I.E. Keenum and Cohen ?

Orgeron hired those coaches. So, he's a pretty damn good coach these days.

The head coach should be the CEO. Our last two HC's have tried to be the CEO and the offensive coordinator. That's too much responsibility at game time IMO and it's the reason why Mullen is so awful at clock management. Nevertheless, Mullen is experienced enough and detail oriented enough to somewhat make it work. Joe, on the other hand, cannot make it work nearly as well. Cannot even get the first play of the game off without a delay of game. Has called a a time out coming out of a TV time out...

Joe can make it if he hires a good OC and upgrades at a few other assistant coach positions. Will Cohen demand this move and will he not be a cheap *** for the salaries? Who knows really?

You have to wonder what USC is thinking. He turned them around as an interim and I imagine he would have done this at USC if they had let him.

He paid his dues and then some. He is one of the coaches I pull for because of this.
