OT: possible White Death early next week?

[bruiser.sixpack]

Chance of Freezing rain/drizzle in Starkvegas Monday evening. Could there be some north Mississippi snowfall in early November after the warmest October on record?

Nah... but interesting forecast 5 days out none-the-less.

Chance of severe in the extended. But anything over 48 hours is just guess work.

Who mentioned severe weather? I want to know so I can never take anything they say seriously again.

As for the snow, if...huuuuuuuuuuge if...we see anything it will be a couple of lost flakes. What we will see is a high chance of record low temps. People need to be focusing on that instead of maybe a snowflake. My not get out of the 30's on Tuesday and that night will fall into upper teens to low 20's. Make sure pets and pipes are ready.

Another political thread? Even after getting the one locked yesterday?

The weather this year has been anything but usual. During the days of record heat I told my family that, with this crazy weather, I wouldn't be surprised if we had a foot of snow at Thanksgiving. I may turn out unintentionally to be right about that.

Like I said it might, it has dropped out of the current models.

I know. Lots of tv stations and the usual clickbait social media outlets were starting to hype it. But winter weather here is almost impossible to predict 6 hours out...much less six days. Surprised me at the number of news outlets running with it so early.
