Just kidding. Did everybody see Brandon shoving this dork for running his mouth? Just imagine a 40 year old man from Mississippi working day in and day out with a bunch of obnoxious, east coast trust fund kids. Pulling for Brandon hard. Would love to see him put in two good years, continue getting the National exposure, and then come back down south to a huge gig (whatever that might be). Prayers for Brandon. Try to keep your cool with this bunch.

Trigger warning: Bob from Bogue Chitto, Ernie from Eupora, Andy from Ackerman: be advised there is some foul mouth language and trash talkin’ of Mississippi.

I had yet to see this. I'm about 60% believing this was staged but if not, he's lucky he has a job.

Technically, yes. But, it seems like a pretty relaxed atmosphere. The shove wasn't that bad. That guy immediately talking about finding HR seemed really unnecessary.

The "moron from Mississippi" would have set me off too. Just knowing you are new to the office, from the South and sticking out like a sore thumb in that ridiculous get up - you are probably conscious not to live up to the Mississippi stereotype. And that guy saying that would have made my blood boil.

The video has been up since last week asshat. There were two threads on it.

Just reading "asshat" always makes me giggle like a 9 year old. Every time.

Also, I would really like to see that douche say some of that ****, in that accent in the parking lot of The Landing circa 1990. HR would not be helpful.

That dude has never had to physically back up any of the BS spewing out of his piehole. Fake or not, kudos to BW for backing him down.

Not to mention that it started with an intern telling him the interns time was more valuable than a content creator's (Brandon's) time. I'd have been pissed before he said Moron from Mississippi...

Brandon does not fit the culture at that office. Super defensive, no sense of humor, churlish and seems way older and crankier than everybody else. I bet his days are numbered. I don’t watch him, but is he that good at what he does or do we just support him because he’s a Dawg?

The intern caught him at a bad time. Big Cat and Dave have been riding him hard about every little thing and had blasted him on his Top 10 even though Brandon stood up and had a good defense and proved Dave's logic was flawed. That said, Brandon seemed worn out and aggravated once they wrapped and this guy comes in immediately and it was just bad timing. Brandon lost it and did what 99% of us probably would have done if we were called the same and shoved the guy. He didn't hit him, he didn't kill him, he just shoved him and the little punk starts crying about HR. These 17ing yankee New Yorkers love to talk a big game, but they go running when the **** gets real.

I'm getting adjusted to being on video every step of every day

We got mad at each other, blew up, somebody got pushed, we shook hands and that was it. That's not all that crazy to me, but it's been big up here.

And to the guy who says I don't fit up here, I just signed a 3-year deal at a nice price. So Dave disagrees with you.

Keep it up Brandon, you are doing great things! Love the Unnecessary Roughness podcast. Don't forget to throw the Bulldog masses a bone every now and then by doing a More Cowbell. Is there a way to get the message when the next 'live' More Cowbell will be? I always just end up listening to the recorded version.

Arguments happen. When you put your hands on somebody in a professional environment, that’s a different story.

But would you let someone talk to you that way?

Brandon, I thought the guy was way out of line. You were both throwing generic insults and cuss words at each other and he took it to another level with the "moron from Mississippi" comment....while walking away mind you. Truth is, there is less than 0% chance he would say that to you in an environment outside of that office. It's funny how people talk a big game when cameras are rolling. Keep doing your thing man, you're killing it up there and repping the Dawgs while doing it. I never listened/watched anything Barstool until you landed in that gig, and now I can't get enough. You're creating a Brand, and to do that, sometimes you have to ruffle some feathers and do things that go against the grain. Keep it up!

But would you let someone talk to you that way?

No, I’m like you in that I can be temperamental at times. Got into with a dude at work 5 or 6 months ago as a matter of fact. Arguments happen and sometimes physical altercations happen...just saying that normally those physical altercations end with people being let go.

But with just a shove, I think the end results were appropriate. Nothing drastic. Hope you continue to do well and look forward to the next More Cowbell.

At work? I probably wouldn't get physical over it, but I'm a money grubbing *****. I'm a big fan of other people getting physical when people deserve it. Makes the world a more civilized place when people have to worry about getting their *** kicked if they act like a **** head.

It's one thing to call someone generic names. "Moron from Miss" is another level because there is a prejudice element to it.

ETA: Who wouldn't like to bring home a girl in a sweatshirt that says "GIRLS 17"?

Agree with your viewpoint. Even before that when they were ripping his outfit and chiding him about not wearing it, he didn’t go along with the jokes. He seemed offended and put off. Relax man and be one of the guys. Guys make fun of each other. That’s what we do. “You’re fat. Ha, yeah but your mama likes me fat”. That kind of shtick is funny on camera, but Brandin doesn’t get it apparently. He was a dud. The kind of guy who takes himself too seriously.

I don’t think you’ve watched anything I’ve ever done.

That’s fine, but you’re misreading the hell out of who I am and what I do.

This is without a doubt a NAFOOM poster with a fake account. Telling the guy who got solicited to one of the biggest sports media companies how to act and fit in with people doesn’t really work. He was hired and brought on because they like his shtick. Brandon having a temper and flying off at the handle easily is his bit. That’s how it’s supposed to work and that’s why he’s the best addition they have had in years. Of course, you’re not really a state fan anyway, so 17 you - *shoves*

In a matter of roughly three months Brandon has become the third most popular person at barstool. 1. Dave Portnoy. 2. Big Cat and 3. Brandon Walker. I’m pretty sure he’s got it under control there fellow.

If you say anything about BW that is not unabashed, glowing praise you will be hounded by the Dawgs of hell here.

Even constructive criticism.

Why would he want/need constructive criticism from anyone on a msg board? Do you think Brandon walker is qualified to come give you constructive criticism about your job?
