That even Hadad and Joel T are literally wearing the goggles with the maroon tint. I’m actually disappointed in them. They’re both convinced that we will beat ole miss because of Kylin Hill. Come on dudes. We shall see right?

Lol Ole Miss ain't ****. They're Kentucky. The fact some of y'all are already accepting a loss to them is a joke. Man the 17 up already.

And you’re convinced we will lose despite Ole Miss being 0-4 on the road and giving up 501 per game in those losses.

Those 4 road games are Memphis, Bama, Auburn, and Missouri. Please tell me with a straight face we'd do much better than giving up 501 YPG against those 4.

Here’s the way I see it, we suck/they suck. They are playing hard. We played better this weekend. But...If winning the Egg in ‘Vegas means we keep Joe—I/we just need to deal. We should never admit defeat (especially before the game is played)to those lowlifes no matter the circumstances. 17 ‘em and their snotty *** attitudes.

I'll admit SERIOUS improvement for this team if we beat Ole Miss. I hope he does it and am pulling for him. Am I skeptical? 17 yes. If he's smart he'll spend the rest of the season getting ready for this game like Hugh Freeze did for us in 2014 after the Auburn game.

The Egg Bowl has been a toss up game essentially every year since I’ve been alive. Ole miss is currently 3-6, and we are currently 4-5.

Why in the hell would this year’s game be any different?

Admitting defeat to a 3-6 ole miss team is so soft

You're acting like ole miss is a good team. They're no better than UK and worse than KSU. We're poorly coached but we are much better at home, we'll have the suspended guys available and Joe hasn't lost the team like some of us feared. We'll be favored and should win. Yeah, we absolutely could lose, but to think that only those in maroon glasses think we're going to win is silly.

This team has given us every reason to feel soft. Hopefully the Arky game is a turning point but I'm skeptical.

We should absolutely beat Ole Miss this particular year. But that ain’t saying much. To even question it with regards to the NCAA hang over they’re experiencing shows just how subpar our coach is and where he has taken our team. We missed an easy opportunity to really separate our program from theirs. It was set up for us and Cohen and Joe $&|+ the bed. Now we’re both just lying in the same $&|+.

Here is where I stand. Ole miss plays hard and their defense is much improved, but that offense is really bad. They basically have 3 guys that can beat you, Moore, plumlee, and Ealy. Moore can only beat you if corral is in, but they need plumlee to play basically the whole game to have a chance at beating us. If we tackle, we win the game fairly comfortably. If we don’t, long night for us. It’s pretty simple.

And if the EB was in Oxford this year I’d feel differently. Most non-elite college teams are just better at home.

Take Missouri for example - you ask if we would give up 500 yards tho them. They’ve eclipsed that mark three times this year. Ole miss, Southeast Missouri State and Wyoming. But in the two games since Ole Miss they’ve failed to eclipse 300 yards vs. Kentucky and Vanderbilt I’m back to back weeks. Both on the road.

I think the point is that

They’re worse than the team that beat Oklahoma?

There’s a line in the sand.

they're not better than KSU - a team we outgained in yardage and really should have beaten and could beat with all players healthy and available (and a damn special teams game plan). The game is a coin toss for me. If our guys play smart, the crowd stays into it, and we contain Plumlee (a tall order) we can win going away. Still more football to be played.

to call out Hadad for being too positive? You probably kicked the dog every time Mississippi State scored last Saturday. smh

Who knew that our fans would get their panties in a wad this much over a 30 point SEC road win?

The “I told you so” kind of fans are the absolute worst, and we have a lot of them. Would rather MSU lose just so they can be right instead of being wrong and entertaining the idea that maybe we aren’t as bad as they think we are.

We will have our full complement of defensive players for the Egg Bowl. The game plan is easy. Double team or shade on Elijah Moore, and commit everyone else to stopping the run. Maybe have Willie Gay, Marcus Murphy or Brian Cole spy on Plumlee.

Ole Miss is not good.

We will be playing for a bowl game. They won't. We need to come out ready to draw blood. OM will do their best to make sure we don't go to a bowl. That will be their motivation. I think we win by two touchdowns.

Egg Bowl is often won by the more physical team. That would seem to be Ole Miss at present, but seeing how it will be more bowl eligibility, and all of our players will be back, and at home.....I could see us being extremely amped for that game and bringing the pain.

They'll fire Luke the next day.

If we tackle? We haven't tackled all year. We lead the SEC for missed tackles at 12.8 per game. If you are hanging your hopes that this team will finally, somehow in the last game of the year, start tackling and/or taking better angles, etc. you are much more optimistic than I am.

That's a rough stat right there. That's not MSU football.

The sad thing is that we are even having a convo about being on the same page with Ole Miss. They had a coach calling escorts and were/are in complete shambles..... We just hired a new guy to coach our (at the time) bad a*$ football team and now we are on the same level, if not lower than OM.

This game is all about the will to win. Luke will have the Admiral Ackbars ready to fight for their Ole Miss.

I suspect our players will have to get themselves ready in spite of their idiot savant coach.
