I don't, because I think those rankings amount to about as much as recruiting rankings and bowl predictions until the weekend after Thanksgiving do. You could be picked dead last in the SEC and still win it all, preseason rankings are trash and only for selling those fortune telling preseason magazines

What’s aggravating is that when we look back on this year’s schedule, we’ll find 9 games that were all completely winnable. In all likelihood, State will have been favored in 8 of them, hence the Vegas preseason win total projection of 8.5

However, we’re staring at a BEST case of 6. We’ve still got to see how the season plays out, but in terms of expectations vs reality, this year would probably be second only to 2001 in terms of completely underachieving. Last year would be a close 3rd which doesn’t exactly speak well for Joe

Things do not seem so gloomy when one has taken the under and gone all in. Lock bet of the season....

I missed out on that one, but State has definitely won we back some money this year. If there’s a spread, team total, or O/U that seems even remotely optimistic this year, I bet the other way.

I lost the UT team total earlier this year by betting the over, but I’ve won my 8-9 other bets.

There were never 9 wins on this schedule. Some of us were saying 6-6 before the season started. Although today, 6-6 looks wildly optimistic.
