Joe will get one more year. Fans need to decide if they are really True Maroon or simply Ole Miss fanboy wannabes.

The True Maroon fans want to make the change. The Ole Miss fanboy wannabes are the ones that want to keep him.

I just wanted to make sure that was clear for everyone.

Not really. Most folks who can actually think realize he is getting a 3rd year. It's up to him to go from there. By the way I buy double digit season tickets and will again next year. I've come to loathe the privileged mentality of most State fans. He gets a chance to build his program and two years isnt going to do that.

I hate to spoil the ending for you, but Joe Moorhead ain't building **** here. And I'm glad that you buy double digit season tickets. I've bought season tickets for years and I won't next year if he's back. And I'm not alone, either. I'm exactly the type of fan Cohen needs to be paying attention to.

I'm sure Major Applewhite thought the same thing when Houston fired him after two five-loss seasons.

I don't think he will be fired because we are cheap and our AD has no spine. And when we have another losing season aGAIN next year, we will have deserved every bit of it. But make no mistake about it...the **** is already out of the horse and you can't put it back in. Big money folks are upset, and Cohen has a mess on his hands. If we lose to Arkansas or Ole Miss, I think there's a very good chance he's gone.

He better beat Arkansas and Ole Miss then. I doubt John Cohen will be putting his own *** on the line because catvet and the unprivileged say coaches deserve more time to build their program. If we win 6 we won't fire him, But we aren't winning 6. I hope he leaves on his own, bc he knows it's coming...it's a matter of when, not if.

I guess I'm not true maroon because I helped an acquaintance move today because it was a better option than watching the inevitable. **** this ****. I learned I liked fall camping in the croom error, so maybe I'm not too old to find a new hobby. We arent even halfway 17ing competitive. With anyone.

Scared of Jackson, no. A deep hatred of Jackson, yes. Love how this POS town has bottomed out. Just a sewer with misfits, murderers and lowlifes.

Anybody that takes joy in the demise of others is the real POS. You know what, you could decide to help the perceived problems other than throwing your old man tantrum but I know that would probably mean admitting something in your own beliefs and I don't think you want to do that.

Yea, If there is one thing Cohen is known for is having no spine. That guy really won’t stand up to anyone.......Jesus. The guy with the nickname “Intense Bastard” is spineless. He may end up being a ****** AD when it is all said and done but spineless he is not.

I'll be willing to help. Help build a fence around it, pay for the gasoline to pour over it and provide the matches. See, I really want to help.

Yeah, because yelling at an umpire is the same thing as having the character to pull the plug on the biggest decision he's made as AD to date. If he pulls the plug on Moorhead at the end of the year, I will retract my statement.

If he does not pull the plug it will be because he is hard headed and arrogant, which are other traits of his. Saying he has no spine is just completely wrong. He has never been one scared of anything.

When you know, you know. Everybody knows, even though some are in denial. Joe is not a good fit. If he doesn't pull the plug, it won't be because he's arrogant. He already knows what he has to do. The question is whether he has the testicular fortitude to do it this year. If he does, I'll give him credit for it.

Cohen hasn't been the IB in years. The last year I saw the IB come out was 2015. He's become much more conservative in his new job. And that's not exactly his fault, you just can't be a fire breathing dragon and an AD. I believe it's in there, but it'll take some real s*** to bring it out again. I imagine Cann saw it when Cohen found out he couldn't keep it in his pants, but the general public hasn't seen that in years.

I think Cohen is going to be too stubborn to admit he was wrong until next year. I do not think he will ever hesitate to fire someone because he is just scared or “yella”. I hope he will fire him this weekend when we lose to Arkansas.

The true Intense Bastard was Mullen it seems now. I like Intense Bastards that are obsessed with football to the cost of everything else. There are very few, but they are the successful coaches at whatever level.

When looking for a coach, that has to be the priority.... obsession. It's been my experience, people who are great at what they do are obsessed with their thing. Very few are just God blessed freaks that can have other interests outside and still be great.

And by obsession, I mean every little detail everyday. They said Bear Bryant knew what the janitors were doing. And that they better be doing it HIS way. The only thing that mattered was what would win games.

I heard Stricklin say he spent Mullen's 1st year mainly being a shoulder to cry on and patting people on the backs saying "there there, it's gonna be ok." after Mullen pretty much told them how they sucked at what they were doing and either get better or get gone.

That single mindedness is what it takes to create a culture of winning. Especially at a place like State.
