6-6 , Egg Bowl and bowl win but with a caveat if he hangs around. We get out the checkbook and surround Moorhead with the best coaching staff (S&C coach etc) we can buy until he can learn to be a head coach. He needs a lot of help if he's ever going to be a success at MSU. He's far far from being a good HC at this point.

Only if he's going to be a headcoach and not an OC. I don't think he's going to give up running the offense, but that'd be the only way I'd be on board with this. Let a great OC run things while he runs the business.

I don't see what spending more money on staff is going to do for us. If your brain surgeon sucks at brain surgery, you don't keep using him and say that you'll get better nurses and anesthesiologists to help him out. You find a new brain surgeon.

Well, if you can't realistically fire your brain surgeon, getting a former brain surgeon to come back an assist him as a nurse or anesthesiologist seems like a pretty good route.

I WANT Joe to go 6-6 or better and either return or take another job. Wouldn't matter which.

IF Joe goes 5-7 or worse, I would want him gone, whether he is fired or saves face by leaving. (I don't think he'd be fired at 5-7, but I've been surprised before.)

I WISH for Joe to win this weekend so I and others can get back on the JoeMo Train.

A win this weekend would quieten the masses but doubt most would be get back on the train just yet. Finish 7-5.....who knows. Although the team played harder against LSU I still think 4-8 is a strong possibility.

What is Joey Jones? Chopped liver?

****. I have been seeing people complain about him but never stopped to look him up. Based on the little I saw USA play, I would have thought he'd be a pretty decent target for exactly the type of help I'm talking about.

Now I'm really perplexed as to how the 17 we look so poorly coached. Not that I think Joey Jones is some overlooked gem, but I don't recall his teams having trouble getting a play off coming out of a time out and they generally looked like they had practiced the week leading into the game.

1. We are not firing Moorhead after Year 2.
2. Winning is better than losing.

We're not firing him if he gets to 5-7. If he goes 4-8, I think that might be enough to do him in. Whatever challenges he was left by Mullen's inconsistent recruiting and tutorgate, it's hard to argue that those challenges put him in a worse spot than KSU, Arkansas, UM, and UT. Abilene Christian, UK, ULL, and USM is a pretty damning resume, especially against our easiest schedule since at least 2012 if not back in the Croom years.

It’s going to take a whole hell of a lot more then a Texas A&M win for me to get back on the Moorhead train. It would almost take a victory over Alabama at this point. He’s shown way too much incompetence for me believe he is the right guy for the job.
