Threads like this typify why we can’t have nice things at MSU. We are so eager to be the biggest bitcher!

We get it. You don’t like Dan Mullen. And you don’t really get Mississippi State football.

So you be you.

I don't dislike Mullen. Hell, I have an autographed Dan Mullen football.

I just don't understand why some of you can't let him go. You still think this much about your ex-girlfriends too? Move on!

We're gonna show him... we'll burn what he built to the ground

What exactly did he build?

All I see is a deplete DL and RB spots. All I see is a Up/Down/Up/Down ride. Ever 2 years he sucked ***. Had 2 losing seasons and one of those was in year 8. Which is 2 years prior to Moorhead.

Don't get me wrong. I liked the job he did, but Saban, he is not.

So explain to all of us lower than you people, what exactly has Moorhead ruined?

You are already assuming the next guy won’t recruit well. How do you know this? How much of a mess does it have to get for you to think it’s just a bad marriage? The guy is in over his head. His offense is not working. And he sure as hell isnt going to adapt. We are uninspired, undisciplined. It’s cause for serious concern.

I think what he is saying is it shows instability. Look at the most successful programs. They are the ones where people stayed and built the program.

Go look at the roster Mullen had for year 1 and 2 that Croom left. We were way more talented then than we are now. Particularly on the D line, O line, and linebacker. I think there were probably 12-14 NFL type guys then with what maybe 5 now and 2 (Gay and Autry) who can't play. Mullen left a great defense for 1 year. Holes everywhere else up and down the roster.

I can't even believe I'm wasting my time with this, but if you can't see that Mullen > Moorhead then I can't help you.

NO. Incorrect. They are the ones that hired good and competent coaches who in turn, were able to stay for a long time and build a program. There are many many examples of good programs hiring bad coaches.

Yeah, and he went 18-33 against the competition in that division. In 2014, he went 4-2 against the West division, which was his only winning record in division play, and his only winning record in the SEC.

Sure he did, like in 2010 when we Were 15th in country with a 4-4 SEC record because those losses and our only losses were against teams in our division ranked 1, 8, 10 & 12 in the country. That was in our division. 2011 1, 2, 5, 9 ranked teams was 4 of the losses. I mean wanted more wins as well but historically there has never a time when you had so many strong teams in one conference.

Well I can't. I see a coach in his 2nd year putting into place his system while in the middle of a low roster spot that we seem to have gone through every 2 years with ***.
