There was a thread this summer I believe abt visiting a park out west.
Talked abt a specific trail I think that was a must do but kind of difficult?

Any help finding this?

Was it about the Jenny Lake Loop and Inspiration Point hike in the Tetons? That's a really good one.

As far a good hikes in the Rockies go, it's pretty easy, but you'd still want to wear hiking boots, carry water and bring bear spray.

Mash here for more info.

If you're asking about Yellowstone/Teton, the one "must do" hike is the Canyon Cascades hike out of the Tetons. It originates out of Jenny Lake. I would suggest taking the ferry across Jenny Lake to the trailhead (you can hike along the shoreline if you prefer but it adds a couple of miles each way). You will hike up past Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. This part of the hike is quite crowded. But then if you continue on past Inspiration Point you enter Cascade Canyon. The trail levels out from there and you lose most of the crowds. And the views along the Canyon are spectacular. Go at least a couple of miles in the canyon before returning. Awesome hike.

If you're referring to Glacier, the link in this thread has several good suggestions. Glacier is a hiker's paradise. Jaw dropping scenery everywhere. It's the closest thing to the Swiss Alps you'll find in the US.

Cascade Canyon is the hike I’ve always taken family and friends on. You can further avoid crowds by not going to Inspiration Point/Hidden Falls and instead taking the horse trail into Cascade from the dock.
FYI, that whole area has been going through a full trail redesign, rebuild over the past several years. The landscape architect for Grand Teton National Park that headed up the entire project is an avid State fan.
