Shoop isn’t going anywhere. If Moorhead feels the need to fire him, then we have a serious problem.

I followed this game very closely and Ted Roof’s defense did to LaLa offense what ours couldn’t. Do you think App State has better defensive players than Mississippi State?

Ted Roof once won 6 games as the head coach at Duke. Granted, it was over 5 seasons.

Wow...and I’m the crazy one...this defense is bad due to one reason only, Dan Mullen left us razor thin in most defensive positions. You can’t judge shoop on this year or last year. Ain’t a d coordinator in the country that can salvage what was given to him after Mullen and the draft.

I usually don't agree with you on many point Shamosn but you are spot on with that post. Anytime your coach is playing as many freshmen as we are you got serious roster issues and no coach is winning with freshmen.

Hold on a minute! Are you suggesting that we need players AND coaches to make this thing work? You're in the wrong place. We like to suggest that in one year we had so much talent that Charlie Brown could've coached them to victory, but in the very next year that despite the fact that talent is no longer there any decent coach could still get these freshmen to perform at a very high level immediately. It doesn't matter that it doesn't happen at any other program in the country. In some respects that's leadership for you; no credit, all the blame.

Regardless,WE'RE TAAARRRREDDD OF LOSIN' AND BY GAWD IF I WAS IN CHARGE SOME HEADS WOULD ROLL EVERY TIME WE LOST AT ANYTHING

im mostly saying that it goes both ways in regard to shoop. his defense was loaded in '18 and we were # 1, his defense is now depleted in '19, so he probably got more praise that he was due in '18 and is now catching more ire than he is due in '19. add on suspensions and i think a strong case can be made that we dont know what we have in shoop, but he deserves some time. moorhead....ehhhhh, not so much, but thats my opinion.
