Disagree. Maroon pants are great for on the road, in combo with white (or perhaps gray) jerseys and Maroon helmets (always). Never at home, never white helmets or black on ANY part of ANY uniform

Well, that's just it, PCHS....Players don't always play well when they look bad, 'cause if you look bad you feel bad, and if you feel bad, you play bad. Something like that.
We don't have a tradition. We switch uniforms every time we switch coaches, sometimes even when we keep coaches.
We may as well brand ourselves as willing to do the new flashy stuff. Why not.
White, mesh, tear-away jerseys with MC Hammer maroon pants, maroon socks and shoes and laces with white helmets with maroon face masks and a maroon Bulldog head on each side with the player's number in the dog's mouth.
Win the game, I could care less what we are wearing.

Just announced we are going Maroon pants. I don’t know why but it feels like everything we go Maroon pants on the road we get killed.

As I watched the Memphis Tigers last night, I realized that I have no idea what their standard 2019 uniform is. I remember when they wore silver helmets with MSU. I remember when they switched to the Mtiger.
Which made me realize.... I have no idea what States 2019 standard uniform is either.
1980, 1990, 2000 and as late as 2010.... I can say “that” was our helmet that year. Now I can’t.

Wow. You seem really smart. I never considered that winning national championships every other year will help recruiting. That's interesting. Thanks for pointing it out
Now that this really smart guy named glorydawg pointed out national championship teams can recruit at high levels, hopefully our administration will read this and we will win national championships so it will be easier to recruit.

I won't blame an overwhelming loss on uniform choice alone, but I do believe a sharp-dressed team is more likely to keep it within striking distance.
We were wearing maroon pants when we beat Florida 10-9 at Gainesville in 2010. But that was more like winning DESPITE the maroon pants...
Still, the post-game celebration was festive. I love the look on the Florida fans' faces.
