Saints signed jt Barrett to practice squad yesterday, so they might cut JT and sign kelly. Barrett knows saints' system though, so who knows?

Had been on suspension (for 2 games)

what was that for? violation of team rules is a broad stroke.

Signed Hoyer, while Kelly was out.

IDIOT!

IDIOT!

He was suspended due to the Denver Halloween Party incident that got him fired from the Broncos. Indy doesn't want any team to sign him so they can re-sign him to their practice squad.

The Saints would need a team of minders keeping him away from all that NOLA has to offer 24/7. That city and his personal issues ...not a good mix.

I'm not an Eli Manning fan by any stretch of the imagination...but does anyone here think he could help the Saints or is he wanting to be "the man" somewhere else?

Won't be a popular take but I think the Saints should sing Kaepernick and Dez Bryant at the same time. Give em 6 weeks to ball out and if they can't do it the world can put it to rest forever.

I've imagined Kaep as an understudy to Taysom Hill. Don't think he is an every down answer at QB but he can do damage with the ball in his hands.

Why is Kaepernick the first name out of so many people’s mouth? He absolutely stunk it up his last season, hasn’t went through training camp or played a down in multiple years, wouldn’t have any reps with the WR corps of any team, and wouldn’t know a play in the book.

I could see if it was a Barry Sanders type thing and he wanted to come back... but he is a below average QB that hasn’t played a down of football in an extended amount of time. He brings nothing but baggage. There is zero upside unless he agreed to a bargain basement deal to just get a warm body on the sideline in an emergency situation.

I'm not saying its not popular, but we should give you a national audience and whatever the 17 you say, teams should do the opposite. It will make us rich.

Lol you'd be rich? If I was the owner I'd make more in 6 weeks off those two players than you'd make in two years. Facts.

I think Eli retires at after this season. At the end of the 2019 season he will have made more money than any other player in NFL history @ 252 million. His record is 116-116. If he starts another game with the Giants he probably ends his career with a losing record.

Not no, but hell no! Can't believe this is even serious. Guy is a cancer...a complete ***. People forget he didn't start his, "kneeling-martyr-willing-to-sacrifice-starting-for-my-principles" until after he lost his starting job. Even then, the guy was offered a contract by the 49ers that he turned down because he thought he could get more on the open market.

He's an ignorant jackass whose perceived skill has been vastly overstated mostly by those who buy into his political BS. With the exception of places like SF, where hating cops, calling everyone who disagrees with you a racist, and wearing Che Guavera shirts proclaiming him some sort of, "people's hero" is considered more honorable than respecting the flag and our country...I dare say any team that signed that POS would hemorrhage fans, losing many forever.

Had an Ole Miss fan argue with me that Kelly is a better QB than Dak (stupid but understandable from their biased point) but then he argued Kelly is a better QB than Eli, which is freaking crazy.

Believe it or not many of their fans feel that way. It's based on the fact that

Grandpappy told most of them they are just better than MSU in all ways. It's one of their many problems.

Kaepernick was beat out by......BLAINE FRIGGIN GABBERT! Then as a backup he opted out of his contract with the 49ers in the most liberal city in the US. That contract would have made him millions while he would have time to fight injustice since BLAINE FRIGGIN GABBERT would be handling all game planning, film studies, and offensive reps. Instead he chose to become a free agent where owners were hesitant to meet his demands and pay him starting quarterback money while he holds the clipboard and they deal with all the negative "look at me" actions and possible loss of season ticket holders. Owners being stupid and discussing this with other owners did get Kap some extra moolah along with some Nike money, but didn't change their feelings about him. He is a below average QB talent with a lot of baggage who wants starter money to sign. Saints, don't be stupid. Bridgewater is your guy and I'm sure Payton can find a better and cheaper clipboard holder.
