They could. They had a really emotional loss tonight.

Teams that go through those usually drag the next week unless they have a good coach. A good coach would have not lost that game tonight. He let them celebrate early and let Florida back in the game with a backup QB and a soft, soft secondary. Not much rushing yardage for Kentucky at the end when they needed it to seal the game.

We were embarrassed today by a solid team.

I have a feeling both teams will look very different next week.

Well we had around 30 when Mullen was here. You’re probably right though. Mediocrity really draws them in.

I’m gonna have to agree somewhat with the tailgate comment. We have a very large tailgate. We average 70+ people. We had about 20 yesterday. Yeah it was hot but nothing like last week. There’s a lot of expense, effort and time that goes into tailgating. People aren’t as willing to do it when there’s a mediocre product on the field. None of my group feels very positive about football right now. I believe you could see that in the stands yesterday. Again - I know it was hot. But if we had a solid ranked team that people were excited about, you’d see differently. It’ll be interesting to see the tailgates and stadium attendance if we lose to Kentucky next week. I won’t be there, I can tell u that. I have other interests that I enjoy more than the frustration that comes from watching football right now.

Do all the introductions pre-game. And play really pumped up music during time outs to keep the crowd engaged. And on the field:

This is it right here. The team mirrors the fanbase, or vice versa. Something is just off. We can't expect them to care if we don't support them.

Weather will be better next week. Can’t complain about 88 degrees considering these last 2 games. If we lose next week, the only fans you’ll see moving forward are the women who need an excuse to wear their fall ensembles that they haven’t had a chance to wear yet. Stadium will be half full.
