That's great to hear, but why did Stacy pull out? I understand in her younger years, she had back surgery and has a metal rod in her back (perhaps for scoliosis). She just had a baby, so that could have aggravated her condition, or maybe she just wants time off to be with the daughter. I have back issues too, and never understood how she was able to walk the course like she does.

Lewis won't be getting any time off as she is on site at the event. She plans to stay and support the team. Read where she just had a back problem. Glad Ally will get a chance to play. Should have been picked to begin with. Lewis record is something like 5-10 so not losing much from that standpoint.

According to the article she pulled out because of her back. She's in Scotland as is her daughter I assume, so I don't think it was a time with her daughter issue.

Ally was the first alternate and was going to be there, but now she gets to play. This was really the first Solheim in which she had enough time on the LPGA to qualify so it's really a great accomplishment for her.
