Here's an overreaction:

We can mark LSU down for a certain loss. Their offense looks like ours but with better players and an elite defense to complement it.

I’m not sure that’s an overreaction. Based on this game, LSU is going to be very good.

They are playing like a NC contender

They have always had good defense and skill players, they now have a QB worth a damn

I’m not sure LSU doesn’t go 11-1 with a chance of being in the playoff. They have to play at Bama but after that their toughest road game is us. A&M, Florida, and Auburn all have to come to Baton Rouge, and they also drew Vandy from the East this year.

Not at all. They seem to have found the way to "recruit" a team full of studs again but actually have coordinators to boot AND a real QB.

I haven't seen Bama play yet but that LSU/Bama game is going to be a battle.

That was always the missing piece. Their QBs have been straight up trash but they have found one.

They still have Ed Ogeron as a head coach. Before this season is up one of his brain farts will cause them to lose to someone they should beat. I think what we're seeing is Texas is way over rated (aGain).

They do have some talent though.

Texas may be overrated but LSU is so damn athletic everywhere and they have a qb

Just a question, what “brain farts” has he had that has cost them any games since he took over at LSU? Not saying the man is a genius, but he has surrounded himself with very good assistants, and mostly delegates to them.

Lots of injuries, arrests, and suspensions between now and then.

LSU will prolly have some too.

LSU has given up A LOT of passing yards tonight.

Both teams did considering they were fighting over who is DBU.

I think both teams qb and wide receivers are just that good. Don’t forget the type of receivers LSU has put in the league. Lots of talent at receiver on both teams

People need to finally admit that Ed O is a damn good coach. He’s had success everywhere he’s been except for one school.

Well that's it. He hasn't had any because he's taken himself out of the equation. He's just there to recruit, and he learned from the best...Reverend Freeze.

Their offense looked fantastic.....they haven't looked like that since 2013 when they had OBJ, Landry, Mettenberger, etc. If they can make some strides on defense, they could definitely challenge Bama for the West this year.

It doesn’t matter what the reason is. Point is he hasn’t had a dumb decision or idiotic game plan that has led to an L since November 2007. How long do you hang that over his head?

It's too early for that. Lots of things can happen between now and then. Give it time. Let's see what happens.

LSU goes 11-2 this year including a bowl game win - is my guess. 1 loss to Alabama and another one somewhere else in an upset. (Not an overreaction) That would be a great year for them.
