It's early, but TS is way better than KB. KB made some "wtf" throws. A couple of picks he threw Fitz might not even have thrown.

We lucked out here. I'm sure KB will get better and he's got some talent, but TS was night and day better than Kelly Bryant.

TS was a couple overthrows from having a great day. About 3-4 yards too far on the pass to Osirus and he threw one out of bounds to Guidry deep down the left side. I actually thought the earlier one to Guidry in the corner of the end zone was a pretty good pass. It looked like Guidry slowed and didn't take a good angle to the ball. Coverage was good but I thought he could have made a better play on it and at least drawn a PI.

Guidry ran left when he should have ran right a couple times, or vice versa. One a big gain & possibly a td. He's a lazy route runner at times. Need that fixed or bench him. But yea, Tommy is the better qb.

Better qb and already knows system. All he is lacking is chemistry with the team but that will surely come. With the way the defense played yesterday with the suspensions I’m thinking there is a chance we lose that game if tommy didn’t transfer.

TS had a good game. It was not quite the great game people are describing. Several overthrows, which is at least better than an underthrow that usually gets picked off. And several plays in which he took too long to make a decision in the pocket. This offense must click better going forward to avoid being smothered by SEC defenses.

He did not have "several" over throws. He over threw the bomb to Mitchell and maybe another one, but he was 20/30 and he smartly threw the ball away a few times. He was not missing very much.

I give him a B+. A+ had he hit Mitchell on that bomb.

He still made quick decisions, processed the information, made several reads, didn't stare down a WR, took advantage of matchups. I like where we're headed.

The quarterback for Oregon threw the ball out of the end zone on the last play of the game and he is supposed to be a great QB. Just saying they all make some bad throws.

You watched a different game than I did.

Go ahead and tell all of us how TS will do vs SEC defenses.

I don’t really know what to think at this point, but i thought he had a good game especially considering he hasn’t started one in 5 years. I thought he had a much better grasp on reads than anything we saw last year.

My 10-2 prediction for Missouri suddenly became exposed. I didn’t think it’d happen this quickly.

He completed nearly 67% of his passes. He threw some away and he over threw one or 2. We were watching a different game apparently or you were 3 bourbon an cokes deep at kick off.

Ummm Fitz beat A&M and Auburn last year....I think TS can beat them too. Of course it's a team sport, so we'll need other guys playing well too.

He did several good things, but also made some significant mistakes. He also missed a wide open pass for a TD where he threw instead to Austin for little gain. But for a first start ever, it was encouraging. He did show some nice touch on most throws, but did miss badly on 2-3, particularly when he had our WR even or slightly ahead of his defender at the time he passed, but overthrew by a large margin. Hopefully that gets better as he gets more game experience and familiarity with our WR's game-speed, etc.

But one thing I disagree with you on is your claim he did not stare down receivers. He did...damn near every time. While he can get away with that vs a Sunbelt defense, he will not get away with that vs the decent or better defenses we face. He really needs to clean that up more than anything, IMO.

A big exception was the pass near the end of the 1st half where Tommy drew the safety away from the deep pattern by showing him a quick pass to the flat. That was perfect.
